College Infrastructure
Its an Old Governemnt Sponsered College and UNION Dominated also. Infrastructure was no upto mark with little or no Good things. Hygeine was something they were so afraid to keep. It had a very good liabrary though.
Academics
Basically, some teachers came to teach only. Joined thinking will get a good college. I studied there B.Com Honours, as i was doing my Chartered Accountacy Course so it doesnot matter which college i go.
Placements
Never tried and Never trusted also for that. I havent searched or believe college had any placement services in place. Though most of my friends were doing CA or MBA Along me, and out of those all my friends are either CA/CS/CWA/MBA now and earing a good amount of Salary.
Value-for-money
Fees was quite low, so cant say it was value for money. Overall we didnt got anything in return also for even few buck. Never been fond of this college, honestly speaking giving Rs. 350/- a quarter was nothing though we didnt got Rs. 350/- equivalent from College also.
Campus Life
Apart from Union Rallies, enjoyed a lot with freinds. As such there was no such activities to enjoy. Students who were in unions use to terrorize us, and teacher didnt given any ear to us. It was located at Sovabazar. Not able to Handle any emergencies.

College has one of best campus if you compared to another Calcutta University undertaking colleges. It has very neat and clean college campus. The college has beautiful ground with garden in campus. The college is decorated with many noble people.
Academics
Faculty of the college is fantastic and they are very helpful to the science course curriculum. Teachers take regular exam what is a good part of their teaching. Teachers also provide pdf notes in whatsapp.
Placements
There are many students who are placed in very reputed companies like Birla, Tata, Accenture etc. College give full opportunities to the students to prosper in their life. Also we got many internships from our college.

College Infrastructure
Yes the college has got infrastructure which has been provided to all the students. The faculty has been too good always. Always supported the students for all the things. Library has always been full of books.
Academics
One of the best faculty that the graduation college can provide. All the faculty members are very supportive. With all the projects and detailed discussion so that we can have a clear concept of the things we learn.
Placements
Placement is a very serious and concentration matter. Teachers give us all the motivation for us to get the placements. And we are taught everything in such a way that we also want the placement to happen soon.
Value-for-money
I did not get placed from the college because i had planned for higher education. Hut for the ones who got placed were happy but switched jobs within a year almost and wanted to find better jobs than before.
Campus Life
The campus was amazing. We had classes very large ones. There used to be a games room. A fountain. A small park. And building construction was in a U shape form. The library was very big and full of knowledge.
Anything Else
Everything was very nice. The three years in that college went by within a few clicks. Life wasnt certain. Classes happened with all energy, events happened with all enthusiasm. Teachers were friendly.

College Infrastructure
The college campus is spacious with big classrooms and well equipped facilities. The library is a blessing for students and you also have book counter for the students where you can buy books at a reasonable rate in the campus itself. There are seperate common room for girls and boys and sports room for interested students. Although, the canteen food tastes very bad and the toilets are not that clean.
Academics
The college is best for commerce as we got much experienced and knowledgeable professors for our subjects. Students can clear their doubts with the teachers even after the classes. However, I think non-bengali students may face language barrier with some teachers.
Placements
The college offers ample placement opportunities to final year students as well as passed out students. Well established companies like Amazon, Tcs, Concentrix, Indigo conducts their placement tests. The average package for commerce ranged from 12k to 22k.
Value-for-money
The fee structure is very affordable for students of any income group. You will definitely feel you got your money's worth. The average fee structure for commerce is approx ₹3000 per year including everything.
Campus Life
The college organises different activities and programs for students to participate and enjoy like the sports day, Fests, Saraswati Puja, etc. The new students get a grand fresher's party conducted by their seniors. You can experience diversity in the college. The location is very convenient plus the street food outside the college is a bliss for students. However, there are some political issues faced.
Anything Else
The three years of college was an overall good experience. I got to make new friends and understand the culture of the place. However, being a non-bengali I faced language barrier in the initial year.

College Infrastructure
Our college have all the necessary infrastructure whether you talk about proper classrooms, chemistry lab, library and projector. Anyway, when it comes hygiene it doesn't stands upto the mark (by this I mean washroom and canteen).
Academics
I'm a student of B.com(H) in Accounts & Finance. It is not the top college in the city so as expected the faculties are soo good in teaching. It is inappropriate for a student to judge his teacher but, it is what it is. Talking about the curriculum, it is managed by the University of Calcutta which got updated latest in 2017, it also happens to be the year I joined college.
Placements
our college provides very ordinary placement options especially more like c-grade job, back office job where there is very limited growth for an individual with a moderate salary of 8k-16k pm. most of the students don't opt for it, soo the placements percentage remains stable and high.
Value-for-money
As it is a government college, the fees are pretty low. my course costs 5000-6000 p.a. compared to any similar private college offering the same course in 25000-40000. Soo, it goes in favour if somebody's looking for good ROI. but the quality of life inside campus is not good.
Campus Life
The best part of the college is its library, pretty well maintained with all the latest books of different interest. And apparently the worst part are the faculties who don't teach according to the standard of the UG program. Students inside campus can indulge themselves in different activities which includes drama, dance, public speaking, debate, table tennis and not to forget gym.
Anything Else
If you are someone looking for enjoying your college life in the best possible way, this should cannot be your option. Although, if you are someone from lower middle class background who also happens to a dayjob and attend college in evening as its fees is relatively less. Thank You for your time.

College Infrastructure
College infrastructure is quite descent. The college has two main building. The whole campus has high speed wifi facility. All the classrooms has projectors and smart boards. There is also a playground for organizing sports inside the campus.
Academics
I had passed in 2018 with B.Com Hons. The faculties of our college are well qualified and very supportive. You have to attend classes because the college has strict rule of 75 % attendance. The college is affiliated under Calcutta University. The curriculum is updated in some years by Calcutta University.
Placements
The placements of our college is average. As most of the courses are not professional so the rate of placement is low. I had placed in ICICI Bank and worked for 1 year. Most of the students are intelligent as the cut off to get admission is high. So the students who perform well throughout their course will get job definitely.
Value-for-money
The college is 100 percent value for money. My yearly fee was only Rupees 3000. As the college is government funded ,the fee of the college is less in comparison of other private colleges. So I will say the college is totally value for money.
Campus Life
Campus life of our college is very good. As the college is situated in North Kolkata, so all the important places are near to college. Also there are plenty of PG near the college to stay. There are banks ATMs and food shops within 500 meter area.
Anything Else
So overall the college has great academics and a truly budget college. It's a great undergraduate college, specially if you want to study commerce in undergraduate. I will highly recommend this college to commerce students.

The college is easily accessible from almost anywhere in Kolkata. The faculty is very experienced but lacks proper atmosphere. The college fees are very much affordable as it is run by the government. The interference made by the student union makes the smooth going of the college a little uneasy.

Situated in the royal & oldest lanes of the city of Joy. One of the oldest colleges of Kolkata. Good connectivity with metro and bus routes. Outstanding & cooperative faculties with lots of experience. Admission cutoffs are really high for other that West Bengal board students. Canteen with lip smacking food. Regular sports & cultural events happen. The campus is well maintained with special attention to greenery. Attendance is really very strict. Well equipped computer & physics lab. College operates in 3 shifts..Decent fees. Affiliated to CALCUTTA UNIVERSITY.A proactive student union always available for the help of students. Altogether a very good experience..Must go for it..I would always cherish those 3 years of my life. Miss my college days.

Seth Anandram Jaipuria College is situated at Sovabazar, Kolkata. It is affiliated to University of Calcutta and recognised by U.G.C. It is also accredited to N.A.A.C. Our college is situated near the Sovabazar Rajbari. Our college has three streams- science, arts and commerce. The classrooms for science department are smaller than that of arts and commerce. Our college has big classrooms. The teachers are helpful to all students. The college has two good computer lab, one for science students and another for commerce students. Our college has a good library with two librarians. In our college there is no auditorium so the functions are organised in nearby ground. The college also has a gymnasium and it offers N.S.S and N.C.C. The college canteen is good with some tasty food. Our college does not offer any kind of hostel facility so it is quite problematic for students coming from distant locations. The college has a good career and placement cell which offers good jobs for 3rd year students and pass outs. All over, ours college is a good college. Thank you.

Hello, I'm Anirban Ganguly, a 3rd year student from Seth Anandram Jaipuria College, KOlkata, under Calcutta University, U.G.C Affiliated and Recognized by N.A.A.C. Here I'm studying B.Com (Hons.) in Accounting and Finance. The college campus is good and big. Our college is situated on Jatindra Mohan Avenue, right along the Kolkata Metro route and near the Sovabazar crossing, which is also the main connector to Saltlake and Ultadanga. So, the campus is very conveniently located. The class rooms are big and sufficient. There are benches to sit for near about 90 students in each class room. All department teachers are very helpful towards students. Our college library facilities are good, and the librarians are very friendly to all the students. In the library there is a separate study room so that the students can study in that room calmly. Our computer lab is good and has enough computers so that each student can sit in a single computer. Our college has no auditorium hall, but the college functions are held in a local ground nearby or at Mohit Mancha in Paikpara. Our college also provides N.S.S, N.C.C, GYMNASIUM. Finally,Lets come to our college canteen .This is the place where students gossip with friends while eating some foods. The foods rates are very cheap and tasty and also they maintain a good quality of food. There are is also very scope when it comes campus placements. And lastly regarding attendance, the college authorities are strict enough but when it comes it some genuine causes, they give us the required leave. I'm very happy and satisfied with my college. THANK YOU
