The candidate must have passed the (10+2) Examination with at least integrated 50% marks (45% for backward and Physically challenged candidates) in the compulsory subjects Physics and 

• Mathematics along with one of the following subjects:
• Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Technical Vocational.

Eligibility Criteria for Direct Second-Year AdmissionThe candidate must be an Indian national and should have passed a Diploma course in Engineering / Technology with at least 45% marks (40% for backward class / physically handicapped from only Maharashtra).
OR
The candidate must be an Indian national and should have passed a B.Sc. degree from UGC / Association of Indian Universities recognized universities with at least 45% marks (40% for backward class / physically handicapped from only Maharashtra) and passed 12th std—examination with Mathematics as the subject and with English as a medium of instruction at the B.Sc. level.
