36 MonthsDiploma in Electrical Engineering is a three-year full-time course offered by the Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education, Mumbai, and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
Eligibility Criteria
First Year Admission:
The candidate must be an Indian National and should have passed SSC (10th) from the Maharashtra State Board or equivalent, with a minimum of 35% marks, with the following subjects:
- Mathematics
- General Science
- English
Direct Second Year Admission:
Candidate must be an Indian national domiciled in Maharashtra and must have:
- Passed HSC Science / Vocational / Technical
- OR SSC + ITI (2 years duration with proper specialization)
Additional Eligibility (Maharashtra Candidates):
- Minimum 35% in HSC Science / Vocational / Technical
- ITI candidates must have minimum 60% marks
- Only ITI courses of 2 years or more are eligible
Admission Details
All admissions at VTC, Miraj are conducted strictly on a MERIT BASIS. The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Mumbai, conducts CAP rounds for 100% CAP seat admissions. Institute-level admissions are also carried out as per DTE norms.
