Our college is very well maintained. We have air conditioned classrooms, library, canteen. Libraries cover books from all fields and is spacious too. The classrooms are smart boards equipped and spacious. We have a basketball court, indoor sport room and also swimming pool that very well taken care of. In a nutshell, my college provides us with a healthy and hygienic environment with every facility possible.

I am pursuing BA English honors and our professors are highly knowledgeable and skilled. The classes are interactive. Our curriculum is updated but I guess they can do better at it. The way my professors go about in class is surely impeccable and yes it does make me job ready.

Students graduating from my college do really well because it's not just about studies, it's also an all rounder development. We graduate in a very discilpined environment. 55-60% students do get their placements from our college with a satiable salary amount. (I am still studying.)

My course is of 17000 inr. Yes, I do believe that it's worth. Our college provides with an all rounder development, so definitely it's worth.

The students here are very friendly, whether it's your own batchmates, senior or juniors. So are our professors. We have a lot of co-curricular activities and also clubs. We have our own Scouts group who literally work for other people in times of need. The location of our college is just amazing. With streets laden with all kind of street foods, to medical facilities and even police station, we have everything right there.

It's an amazing experience growing here. It's truly worth. Once an Yatanite, always a Yatanite. The soul of being an Yatanite will always be in you, no matter where you go!

My college is situated in a place where you can find almost everything around it. From grocery to stationary to clothing to eateries everything. It has all the facilities. We have AC's in every classroom with smart boards. We have a library, a medical room, a sports room and a laboratory also. Although the space for sports activities is not that big and the college does not have its own hostel. They all are well maintained. But the college campus is not that big.

I am currently pursuing Bcom hons. The teaching staff are very friendly but I find the quality of teaching average. But there are few teachers who are amazing and are great teachers. Yes the curriculum is updated and implemented. But just the academics does not make us job ready.

The quality of the placement cell in our college is average. Companies like indigo, deloitte, decathalon and many others came for placement. I don't exactly know the package but it is decent. The placement process is smooth and the college is supportive.

Yes, my college has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities, and equipment. We have a computer lab, library, seminar hall, gymnasium, yoga room... etc. We have small ground for cricket, football, badminton.. etc. We have a huge library on our campus. All the books for every semester are available there. We have a small cafeteria at our campus. The food is good at the cafeteria.

My college is a part of Calcutta University. I completed my graduation in B.COM from this college. The quality of teaching is good. All faculties are very knowledgable and always ready to help. My college also offered foreign language courses as optional subjects. My college also provided foreign exchange programs to top students every year. We have a compulsory research project in the last year. My college also provided shot-term courses like Tally, ICA.. etc.

We have a placement cell for final year placements. Around 40 to 50 % of the students placed every year through campus recruitment. So, the overall placement is average. Axis Bank, TCS, ICICI Bank, Infosys.. etc came for final placements. The highest salary package was around 4 lakh per annum during my graduation.

Our college is part of a public university. So, the fees are very low as compared to other colleges in Kolkata.

We know that campus life is the most important part of our college. Our campus life is full of fun and adventure. There are so many events and competitions conducted at our campus. We have different students society like Culture society, Debate society, Social welfare committee, Nature society... etc.

Our college is well known for B.COM in Kolkata.

Yes My college have all the necessary facility from air conditioner ,a large campur, a basketball ground,cafeteria,laboratory, geography lab, wifi faciloty,smart boards, clean washrooms,and they all are well maintained.

I am studying bcom accounts honours coz i am from a commerce background.Teachers are really supportive and solve your queries then and there.yes it is updated every year. Every year we have college fest srijan which is a huge event.

Many of the top companies come for placements like pwc, delloite, wipro etc all of them recruit as many number of students. Every year new companies come for recruitment. They all take quality students.

Receptionist is very ill mannered otherwise the college is nice.

In terms of infrastructure shri shikshayatan has been very good. There library is well equipped with a lot of books n other materials. The laboratories are also very good n location wise also its very nice

The quality of teaching was good. I graduated in BBA hons. The teachers were very nice and also very helpful. The curriculum was upto date n also they were helpful in addressing our doubts amd queries that we had.

The placement cell wasn't good. The person in charge wasn't available mostly. Although there were few good companies that had a tie up with our college. But the facility was poor and not good as it should have been

Value for money wise, shri Shikshayatan college wasn't good. There were no other activities apart from study. No events, no industry tours, no excursions, nothing. This aspects should be looked after too.

The campus life was amazing and the teachers were very helpful and friendly. Also the support staff were very helpful. There's a common room with a lot of indoor activities to engage in. And also a huge court to play outdoor games.

Overall it's a nice college but there are certain domains were some improvements are needed. Also academics wise it's good. But other events need to be more improved. But otherwise, it's good. Hope you have a great experience there.

The college has good infrastructure with the school beside it. There are lot of events happening in the college every other day. Srijan is the main event. There are also inter-college fests that it represents. It provides seminars and various courses. placement is not that good. However, they have connects with the industry but the package offered is less. Canteen services are good enough. Bcom hons has only girls section and is in the morning. Teachers are well qualified and experienced.

The curriculum is designed in a good way and the teachers are also good and experienced. You have to make a final project on your interested field at the end of three years which is evaluated for 100 marks. Teachers are helpful enough and encourage students taking up projects and opportunities in and outside the college.

Placements include companies like Indigo and IBM. They provide decent package but timings could be odd. Average package is around 3lacs. Recently I had heard of Big four companies coming to the campus for placements in US tax field. This could be a good start for the students.

It was 50,000 per year including everything. The money could be said to be worth and helps one build it's personality.

The college ends early morning only and leaves less time to enjoy the campus life for the students. However, if one participates in the events, they get opportunities to live the campus life.

It is a decent college for people to go to. Curriculum and courses are good to start a career with.

From spacious ac classrooms to cafe to basketball court to swimming pool to gym..the college has it all. The living spaces are clean and food hygienic. There's free WiFi. Classrooms are well used and maintained.

The curriculum depends on University under which the college functions. Although the teaching staff is amazing and makes subject easier to grasp. They even provided tally courses to us inclusive in the curriculum.

This facility was not offered to us, the students of b.com honours after the ug course. Hence the percentage of students placed or highest salary or the average package cannot be commented upon really.

Cost per year was more than INR 35,000 p.a. which increased every year. It is not worth paying such amounts for facilites which are not so necessary when you're attending a 6-10am ug course.

Location is extremely safe, in the heart of the city. Teachers, students and support staff are amazingly helpful and understanding.

Below average infrastructure. They share auditorium and the ground with their school under the same trustee. The WiFi never worked for us spaces are on an average clean. Libraries lack new collection. There is no sport centre

I studied bcomH. doesn't make anyone job ready. The curriculum has being going on from the ages. The marking scheme of the university remains static no matter which college you choose. They just want you to mug up things and puke it out on exams.

It's bad. I have not heard of anyone getting placed because of the college placement cell. The placement cell was very inactive. Girls got placed because of their talents and that too outside the college campus.

It costed very high. I regret paying that high amount for that college. I could have done much more from the time and money that I wasted on this college. Believe me I still regret it. They only believe in admitting as much number of girls as possible.

There is no college campus. It's just a building and they share the small ground and auditorium with the school under the same trustee. Location is safe. Teachers have their own attitude.

Please don't choose this college. It looks fancy but you will end up wasting your parents hard earned money.

sure the infrastructure was good but it could do better .we had a canteen which was quite well maintained and the food was good. We had water coolers in every floor. Although the washrooms were quite clean in the morning it got really dirty by the end of the day .It was cleaned just once during the day.

The quality of education i am sure was better than most other colleges in kolkata but it could do better.Some of the faculties were really good and we could reach out to them as many times for any doubts and queries.

Nope ..not at all good. There is absolutely no scene of placements at all .To secure a job or an internship one has to apply for it externally as no companies visit the college for recruitment purposes.

1st year in 2015 it was around 40000 which went up to 44k in 3rd year.

My college did have the necessary facilities but there is a lot of space for improvement. Our college has a swimming pool which was well maintained and the living spaces were fairly clean. The infrastructure was fairly decent and well maintained

i had studied bachelor of arts. The teaching quality was good and friendly. As already mentioned the academics were average and there was no scope of job readyness involved. The teachers were really helpful which helped in academic development

There were no placement cells at the time i had passed out of the college. I hope they had improved on the placement cell. My course of BA didnt have any placement whatsoever involved as it is a graduation based course and not a job oriented course

The course cost was very cheap considering other colleges. It was worth the money.

Our extra curricular programmes were really involving and exciting too.

Overall it was a wholesome experience.
