My college has a well-maintained and clean infrastructure. The classrooms have smart boards, projectors and a proper ventilation. The auditorium and seminar halls are quite modern and often used for various workshops. However, I do feel that the college can improve the quality of the canteen and make the media lab more advanced with updated software and equipment.

I am studying Journalism and Mass Communication. The faculty members of this department are very educated and supportive. They teach very well and encourages a lot of practical learning through projects, presentations and discussions. The only drawback is that classes are not held regularly.

The college still has a long way to go when it comes to placements. Although there are some internship opportunities provided, the placement cell is not very active for Journalism and Mass Communication students. Most of the time, we have to find out internships on our own through external sources.

I feel that the course fees are a bit on the costlier side and therefore this college offers a satisfactory value for money. The education quality is quite good but considering the limited placement support and the average facilities for journalism students, I sometimes feel that the value could be improved.

I am enjoying my campus life at this college. The environment is very inclusive and filled with opportunities to participate in events and fests. My department also organizes interesting media-related competitions, film screenings and guest sessions.

The college infrastructure is quite impressive. The classrooms are spacious, clean, well-maintained and equipped with projectors. The library is one of my favourite places because it has a good collection of books, journals and newspapers that helped me a lot in my journalism course. The whole college is air conditioned.

The teachers are knowledgeable and helpful. They make sure that we understand both theory and practical aspects of Journalism. The only problem as far as my course is concerned, classes are not that regular. The college follows the latest Calcutta University curriculum.

The college needs improvement when it comes to placement. Some companies do visit, but not many big names from industries. I think that the college should build stronger industry connections and arrange more internships or workshops with professionals.

I feel that the course fees of Journalism and Mass Communication is quite high. The value-for-money of this college is fair. It does provide a lot of facilities and exposure but I am not sure whether it is worth the cost of my course.

I am having a lively and positive campus life. It is a girl's college. The atmosphere feels safe, friendly and inclusive. There are various clubs, fests and cultural events that keeps the campus active throughout the year.

Shri Shikshayatan College has a proper infrastructure, with well built air conditioned classrooms and smartboards for effective learning. The college has two computer labs and one mac lab, and a library that consists of books for each department. It also has a separate section for using Internet while working. The food prepared in the canteen is handled with precautions hence it is hygienic. Our college has its own stationary store as well, so if you need to take a printout, there is no need to travel around.

I am studying Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication. The professors are extremely helpful and friendly and they make it very easy to understand the concepts. This field encourages us to be updated with the news around the world which is a part of the curriculum as well.

The college's placement is not something I am positive about because they might help you with internships but not with getting a good job. It is better to do a thorough research regarding this aspect.

Considering Journalism involves a lot of practical and lab work, our course cost increases with each semester as our practical work increases. I do feel like around 31 thousand for semester five is a stretch but our college gives us the facilities which we get to use and learn from.

Our campus is open to all the student, they can play their favorite sport in the ground area without any interruptions, but after 3pm. You will always get help from the teachers, seniors and the staff as well. They are very cooperative. Our college is located at a prime buzz spot with all the necessary things available near, starting from food, stationaries, transport, and even places to chill at. It is very safe.

The infrastructures are top class and all the necessary infrastructures (like library, air conditioned classrooms, canteens, halls etc.) are available all the time. They are always kept neat and clean.

Classes are not that regular but productive when happens. Library books are very helpful. Follows updated curriculum. I am studying Journalism and Mass Communication and the college provides a lot of practical experiences required.

Does not have a great placement opportunity and this placement is limited to a few students only. Placements have a very average payment and one needs to build a strong resume for getting it. So if you are someone who is looking for a placement job just after graduation then this college might not be the right one for you.

Journalism course is a bit pricy for what the college is offering but otherwise the rest courses are okay seeing that it's a private college.

The college campus is really good and students and teachers here are very friendly. There are a lot of activities and events where the students can participate or simply enjoy being an audience. The support staff are also very humble and the college has a good medical facility as well.

The infrastructure is good but the campus is pretty small as it is with the school but overall the classrooms have ac and is very comfortable and there are high tech computer labs and a big library for the students

the academics of the college is great. i am studying bcom hons in accountancy and finance and my experience with the faculty and teaching is quite great . teachers are very helpful anthe result every year the college does is also remarkable.

As heard from the seniors the placements are pretty decent with companies like the big 4 coming for campusing along with big banks and other companies for e the bcom students with a good amount of plaqcements each year

for bcom hons the fees is roughly around 25k per sem which is 50k per year which is honestly fine considering the facilities the college provides and looking at my results in the past few sems i am satisfied

there is not much campus life in the college as there are not many breaks and stuff but the clubs are pretty good with events. the location is very good in near exide in a calm locality of lord sinha road

The college has quite a good infrastructure. It provides the students with all necessary resources. The facilities available are air- conditioning classrooms ,library,canteen,a huge playground,lab rooms for computer and science,a garden an auditorium and certain indoor games. We have projectors for educational purposes. They are all used and well maintained. The living spaces are hygienic and cleanliness of the place is taken care of.

I am currently pursuing my bachelor's in commerce degree from this college. The quality of teaching is good. While some of the teachers are quite friendly some of them are very strict. Yes, the curriculum is updated and includes allthe recent developments in the field. No. Not yet.

Shri shikshayatan college has a placement cell that actively works to secure job opportunities for students , with a focus on internships and placements at reputed companies. A significant percentage of students, around 75% are placed through placement cell's efforts.

The course i am pursuing relatively costed 60,000 per year inclusive of all tution fees and examination fees. I pursued a 4 year BCOM(HONS). With the type of campus cleanliness and hygiene it offers in my view my money 's worth

Shri shikshayatan college offers a good campus life with a focus on areas of academic,cultural and extracurricular activites. The key activities of campus life are they organize two fests every year, college engages with community engagement with students etc.

Infra is good. Campus has Wi-Fi connectivity all over the campus, smart class rooms, and a library that is prepared to handle academics as well as competitive exams. Sports facilities are not more, but the college does have cultural events and club activities for student activity.

There are mostly good faculty members, especially for finance and marketing. They are well-equipped and experienced, and the class teaching has more theoretical classes, with attempts being made for more practical classes. The course is industry-focused, but the class teaching can be more practical-based.

Some of the students do get placed from college, a majority of them need to search for off-campus placements. The best was approximately ₹8 LPA, and the worst was somewhere around ₹2.5–3 LPA. The students can expect ₹3.5–4.5 LPA packages on average.

Our college infrastructure was really good. All our classrooms were equipped with amenities like white boards, projectors and a good number of charging points. As per University syllabus, the collection of books were more than sufficient and the labs were also very well maintained and had all the required infrastructure.

Since, the college is under Calcutta University, the curriculum was in line with the University's syllabus. The professors provided a good understanding of concepts and were helpful. Also, for practicals the basic concepts and applications were explained and demonstrated with precision.

For my department, I hadn't heard of any placements being held at that time. Moreover, after completing Hons in Economics, most of the students were interested in pursuing post graduation in different universities.

Shri shikshayatan offers a blend of academic excellence and modern infrastructure .Our college organises various events to boost the confidence of students and make them ready for the greater world and innumerable opportunities waiting for them. It’s a college of great reputation and one of the best colleges in Kolkata. Our college ha air conditioned classrooms with smart boards, wifi enabled within the campus and a beautiful cafeteria. Also hygiene is maintained in a very proper manner. The environment is heavenly surrounded by greenery.

Our college offers a wide range of courses. Students are thankful for such an amazing teaching staff. Our college also offers scholarships for high academic achiever’s. The curriculum fosters creativity, thoughtfulness and knowledge.

Placement drives in our college is amazing. Approximately 80% of the student secure placements with reputable companies like Deloitte, PwC, KPMG and TCS. The highest salary package is around 12 lakhs.

Shri Shikshayatan college is very budget friendly with a very pocket friendly cost of ₹25000 per semester. Also I think the money is very rightly invested since we have facilities like libraries, air conditioned classrooms with smart boards. Also the environment is very soothing.

Our college campus is beautiful surrounded by trees. It’s one of the best college campuses in Kolkata. Various events are organised in our college and we also have NSS volunteers in our college. Even the support staff abd teachers are very friendly and always refer to the doubts of the students.
