Very well equipped which brings out the best out of students
Academics
I am a second year MBBS student. The teaching staff are very supportive and helped in improving my performance. Every teacher here has their own way of teaching and interact with each and every student.
College Infra
Sri Devaraj urs medical college has good infrastructure. It has a library with many reference books, a digital library and many labs that are well equipped. The classrooms are huge and are all equipped with technology that is very beneficial for education.
Campus Life
Apart from studies there are many other things that can be done in this college. The campus is equipped with a huge football ground, volleyball grounds, tennis courts, badminton courts, basketball court, indoor sports complex and even an open amphitheater.
Placements
In a medical college there are no placements, but as far as internship goes, you get a very good clinical exposure in this college as the patient outflow is very good. This will help develop your skills in diagnosing patients and enhance your thinking skills. The college has a very good reputation throughout India.
Value For Money
The college is very worth its fees and is one of the cheapest deemed college in India. The hostels are good and are well maintained. They even have laundry and mess facilities available. The rooms are decent.

Academics
I'm doing my PG program. The quality of teaching is really good and the professors are very skilled and knowledgeable. The seniors help out quite a bit. The curriculum is up to date and covers all the important areas.
College Infra
The campus is well equipped with all the modern instrumentation and the facilities are excellent. The library has a lot of great books and is a great place to study and relax between duty hours. The place is well maintained and the canteen food is good.
Campus Life
The location is safe but it is quite far from the city side. So we do have to travel a bit to enjoy some time off. The support staff are nice and the campus is well equipped to deal with emergency scenarios.
Placements
It is a medical college and so it doesn't have a system of placements as such. We do however get trained in all aspects required to get us prepared for the medical life. The college is quite supportive when it comes to research opportunities for students.
Value For Money
The course costs roughly thirty thousand rupees per year. It is definitely value for money from my point of view since the teaching is good and the infrastructure is top notch. We get to handle a wide variety of complex cases.

It's good for MBBS but there are very less social life
Academics
I am studying MBBS currently in 3rd year. The teaching quality here is very good. Some professors are good and some are bad like every college. The is updated with the curriculum and following CBME curriculum which is set by NMC. The patient exposure is ok ok, not too good not bad also. Some departments it's very good like ENT and Medicine. The facilities used for teaching is up to date like mannequin and Display cameras.
College Infra
The College building is retro style and huge compared to other colleges.The administrative building is modern and newly made with good facilities. The classroom are nice with AC and projectors. There is a library, gym, sports ground for cricket, football, basketball, volleyball and badminton.The college is cleaned regularly.Problem is there is wifi only in library and not elsewhere in campus. The hostel is excellent here with all facilities like like wifi, lift and studyroom and is cleaned daily
Campus Life
The campus life is very bad. There are hardly any places to go near by. The nearest mall is 40 kms far in hoskote. For having pizza or burger in McDonald's and Dominos you have to go 7 kms far. There is only one canteen in the campus which is expensive and doesn't have much options and is closed on Sundays. There's only one shop nearby and for buying more stuffs you have to go to kolar which is around 8/9 km far.
Placements
The placement of the college is not very good because it is situated in a village area and there are many other colleges in the city which are preferred. But there is a option to teach in the same college after graduation which is quite easy to get. But generally placement does not matter much in MBBS since you have to do Post-graduation for better opportunities
Value For Money
The fees during my first year was 14.5 lacs per year which has been increased to around 18 lacs currently which I don't think is worth it. But seeing the scenario that other colleges are charging 25 lacs this one seems to be only option. But I still think trying once more and getting into government college is better than spending this amount here. But if you can afford it then it's okay.
