St. Jerome's College of Arts and Science at Nagercoil is sculptured as an affiliated college offering several undergraduate and postgraduate programs in the arts and science disciplines. Admission Process Degree wise

B.Com: The program has an approved intake of 64 students at St Jerome's College for the Bachelor of Commerce program. Admission will be on pure basis merit considering qualifying examination (10+2) performance of the candidate in relevant subjects.

BBA: Bachelor of Business Administration also has an approved intake of 64 students. The mode of admission will be merit-based academic performance at an applicant's higher secondary education.

BCA: The college provides a clear intake for this program of 48 students. Admission is strictly merit-based and not on factors such as performance in the 10 + 2 examination with particular relevance to subjects relating to computer science or mathematics.

B.Sc Computer Science: This program has cleared an intake of 48 students. The admission process is purely merit-based, given much more emphasis on the candidate's performance in the qualifying examination in the science and mathematics subjects.

BA English Literature: This program with the approval of an intake of 64 students provides entry straight on merit basis, considering the overall academic performance of the candidate and a candidate's proficiency in English.

B.Sc Mathematics and B.Sc Physics: Both these programs have an approved intake of 48 students each. Admission is granted on a merit basis, focusing more on the performance of the candidate in mathematics and science subjects in the 10 + 2 examinations.

M.Com: The Master's program in Commerce has a sanctioned intake of 30 students. There is no other basis for admission but merit, depending on the performance of the candidate in the undergraduate qualification, preferably in commerce or related fields.

MA English Literature: This postgraduate program has its sanctioned intake number at 30. Admission is by merit based, taking into account the performance in the bachelor's degree, particularly that of English literature or related subjects.

M.Sc Mathematics and M.Sc Computer Science: Both these programs have an approved admission of 24 students each. The admission is merit-based, calculated based on candidate performance in their relevant undergraduate degree.

M.Phil English Literature: This M.Phil program has been approved for the intake of 6 students, which offers admission based on merit, i.e., on the candidate's performance in the postgraduate degree level in English literature.

Ph.D English Literature: This is another aspect of the doctorate program on the English Literary Studies where entry is on merit-based, consideration being on the academic background, research proposal, and performance in the admissions process.
