St Joseph's College of Arts and Science, Cuddalore Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The library was established in a small room in the year 1991 with 1150 books for the benefit of staff and students. Every year, some additions were made on the basis of the requirements of various departments. By the year 1995-1996, the library reached the optimum level of more than 9000 books with a limited number of journals, magazines, and periodicals to encourage research activities. Year by year, the library was expanded with standard books, journals, and magazines, including a floor area of the library like a Reading room, Book stack room, Reference section, etc..

The college has a department-based laboratory facility for the students.

The college auditorium was named to commemorate the silver jubilee anniversary of Pope John Paul II’s pontificate. The Durier Block and the Ruby Jubilee Block were interconnected with a state-of-the-art roofing structure to create the auditorium. It is a multi-purpose hall used for academic, cultural, and sports programmes. 

The college Cafe offers breakfast, brunch, lunch, snacks, soft drinks, juice, etc to more than 5800 students of the Campus. The St.Joseph’s Cafe provides hygienic and healthy food to all the students and staff members who come from various places. The Canteen assures quick delivery of food to the students. The Cleanliness and the quality of food served in the canteen are periodically monitored by the management.

The college has a health center with a first aid facility for the students.

The college has guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.
