Stanley Medical College is one among the three premier medical colleges in the state of Tamil Nadu. It is renowned throughout India. I had initially joined an Engineering college and even studied there for a month. Then I left engineering to pursue medicine. So, initially I was a bit apprehensive if I had made the right decision or not. A few days in Stanley made me realize that medicine is my path. It created such an interest towards the subject among all the students. I have to credit this to the faculty that we had got. More than the theory sessions, I had gained a lot of knowledge and experience during the practical sessions. As months passed by, I got good friends and the fun times that I had with my friends made the college experience even more memorable. The skills imparted in me by my college shaped me into a good doctor and I really owe my college a lot for that. Since the batch strength was not much, it made me know most of them personally and even after 25 years after leaving college, I am still in touch with them. To conclude, I am what I am today because of my college.

Stanley hostel s the best with 8 blocks in men's hostel and 3 in ladies. It will make one feel as it is ones home with greenery all around... It has got 2 A/C reading halls and 1 non a/c, besides having a A/C library with all the books of need...

Our college has separate blocks for each department, a large auditorium, vast playground,neat hospitals with well-equipped 8 floor blocks for surgery,emergency and child care each. 50,000 books for reference in our library.we have separate firing sports teams. No limits for enjoyments here with our sports meet STANLEA and largest cultural fest EUPHORIA. That's all in brief about us...long live STANLEAN SPIRIT.
