Bachelor of Technology(B.Tech) in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering is a four-year full-time undergraduate Course offered by Symbiosis Institute of Technology, Pune recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and affiliated to Symbiosis International University, Pune.

Eligibility Criteria

Indian Students

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry /Biotechnology / Biology / Technical Vocational subject. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST category) in the above subjects taken together.
Good Scores in any one of the following entrance exams: SIT Engineering Entrance Exam (SIT EEE) or JEE (Main) or Any State Government Engineering Entrance Examination.

International Students (NRI / PIO/ Foreign Nationals)

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry /Biotechnology / Biology / Technical Vocational subject. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST category) in the above subjects taken together.
Do not have to appear for entrance exam (SIT EEE/ JEE-Main/ Any State Government Engineering Entrance Examination) in India0

IB / Cambridge Board (IGCSE) Students:

Following eligibility rules will be followed for according equivalence to 10+2 school level certificate of International Baccalaureate / Cambridge board student:

a] International Baccalaureate( IB) Board

The candidate must have been awarded IB Diploma or the IB Diploma Course (i.e. IB Certificate) as a qualification for entry to the professional course at the institute and is required to have passed the subjects of Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry at Higher Level (HL), with a minimum score of 24 credits. Students awarded the IB Diploma should also have completed other mandatory requirements (like CAS, TOK and the EE) towards the award of IB Diploma.
Good Scores in any one of the following entrance exams: SIT Engineering Entrance Exam (SIT EEE) or JEE (Main) or Any State Government Engineering Entrance Examination.

College Infrastructure

Symbiosis Institute of Technology has a modern and well-maintained campus with all the essential facilities required for students. The classrooms are spacious, clean, and equipped with projectors and smart teaching tools that make lectures more interactive. The laboratories have the necessary equipment for practical learning, and the library offers a good collection of books, journals, and digital resources. The campus also provides Wi-Fi connectivity in academic areas, which is helpful for study and research. The hostels are clean, secure, and regularly maintained. The mess serves hygienic food with a decent variety of meals. Sports facilities such as football, basketball, badminton, cricket, and a well-equipped gym encourage students to stay active. The campus is surrounded by greenery, creating a peaceful environment for learning. Overall, the infrastructure supports both academics and extracurricular activities effectively. Regular maintenance of classrooms, labs, and common areas ensures a comfortable experience for students. In my experience, the college provides a good balance of academic facilities and recreational spaces, making campus life enjoyable and productive.

College Infrastructure

Symbiosis Institute of Technology, Pune, has a well-developed campus that provides a good infrastructure like my college have all the facilities Smart boards,well structured labs with proper equipments My college also provide a very good facilities for the people who love sports like we have a very good turf surrounded by the natural beauty And also symbiosis students goes to various interschool competition to compete Also the living area classes and mess are very clean All the workers and guards are very polite Overall Symbiosis institute of technology Pune has a very great infrastructure

Overall, I'd say SIT pune is a good college.

College Infrastructure

It has all the necessary facilities and equipments. The labs do have a little old equipments but they work just fine. The college wifi, smart boards and computers are in excellent condition. Hostellites often complain about the food not being hygienic
