SIT Pune Fees 2027

SIT Pune offers industry-oriented engineering programs with experienced faculty, modern teaching methods, practical learning, research opportunities, internships, and project-based education. Regular workshops, seminars, and industry interactions help students develop technical and professional skills.

SIT Pune has modern classrooms, advanced labs, a digital library, Wi-Fi, hostels, sports facilities, a gym, medical services, cafeterias, and green spaces that support learning and overall student development

Campus life at SIT Pune is vibrant, with numerous technical, cultural, and sports clubs, regular fests, workshops, and competitions. Students enjoy a lively atmosphere, though the campus's location away from the city may limit outings.

Some students mention that placements are inconsistent across branches, with higher packages offered to only a limited number of students. Others report concerns about hostel facilities, administrative delays, and the campus being located far from Pune city.

SIT Pune offers good infrastructure, academics, and campus life, but its high fees make the return on investment debatable. Many students feel it is worth it only if you secure a good placement

The academics at Symbiosis Institute of Technology are well-structured and focus on both theoretical knowledge and practical learning. The curriculum is regularly updated to match industry requirements, and students get opportunities to work on projects, presentations, internships, and hands-on laboratory sessions. Most faculty members are knowledgeable, supportive, and approachable whenever students need academic guidance. The teaching methodology includes classroom lectures, practical experiments, assignments, quizzes, and continuous assessments, which help students understand concepts better. The institute also encourages participation in workshops, hackathons, technical events, and certification courses to improve practical skills. The academic environment is competitive but motivating, encouraging students to develop problem-solving and analytical abilities. Digital learning resources and the library further support self-study. Overall, the academics provide a balanced mix of classroom learning and industry exposure, helping students prepare for higher studies as well as placements. While some subjects can be challenging, consistent effort and regular attendance make it manageable. In my experience, the curriculum offers good learning opportunities and helps students build both technical knowledge and professional skills

Symbiosis Institute of Technology has a modern and well-maintained campus with all the essential facilities required for students. The classrooms are spacious, clean, and equipped with projectors and smart teaching tools that make lectures more interactive. The laboratories have the necessary equipment for practical learning, and the library offers a good collection of books, journals, and digital resources. The campus also provides Wi-Fi connectivity in academic areas, which is helpful for study and research. The hostels are clean, secure, and regularly maintained. The mess serves hygienic food with a decent variety of meals. Sports facilities such as football, basketball, badminton, cricket, and a well-equipped gym encourage students to stay active. The campus is surrounded by greenery, creating a peaceful environment for learning. Overall, the infrastructure supports both academics and extracurricular activities effectively. Regular maintenance of classrooms, labs, and common areas ensures a comfortable experience for students. In my experience, the college provides a good balance of academic facilities and recreational spaces, making campus life enjoyable and productive.

The campus life is the best part of symbiosis institute of technology covered with the hills all around and the pune weather is the best if you like rainy season The campus is too big it's looking very good also we have hilltop which got a very nice view

The placement opportunities at the college are decent but have room for improvement. While a few well-known companies visit the campus, the number of high-paying offers is limited, and not every student gets the role they aim for. Students often need to put in extra effort through self-learning, online certifications, internships, and off-campus applications to secure better opportunities. The placement cell is supportive and conducts training sessions, mock interviews, and aptitude preparation, but the overall it's decent

I would say it's value for money if you are opting college for exposure then it's 10/10 but if you are vey serious towards your placement go for some other college also this college is too good for post graduation

I am studying B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering because of the growing tech industry and my interest in software development. The quality of teaching is mixed; some professors are incredibly knowledgeable and supportive, while others stick strictly to the slides. The curriculum is relatively updated compared to standard university programs, incorporating electives on AI, ML, and Cloud Computing. While the coursework gives you a solid theoretical foundation, you still need to do self-study and personal projects on GitHub to truly become industry-ready.

The infrastructure at SIT Pune is quite modern and well-maintained. Classrooms are equipped with smart boards, and the Wi-Fi connectivity across the campus and hostels is generally reliable, though it can slow down during peak hours. The labs for Computer Science are up-to-date with good systems. The library has a massive collection of books and online journals. The hilltop campus view is amazing, and the living spaces in the hostels are clean. The mess food is decent and hygienic compared to most engineering colleges, though it gets repetitive. Sports facilities like the gym, football ground, and basketball courts are well-utilized.

Campus life is easily the best part of SIT Pune. Situated on a beautiful hill in Lavale, the location is scenic and very peaceful, though commuting to the main city takes time. The campus is extremely safe with 24/7 security and excellent medical emergency handling via the Symbiosis University Hospital. The student crowd is diverse, coming from all over India, making the culture vibrant. There are numerous technical clubs, cultural societies, and the annual fest "Reverb" is a major highlight where everyone gets involved.

Placements for the CSE branch are quite solid, with a high percentage of students getting placed every year. Major mass recruiters as well as top tech companies visit the campus. The highest salary package often goes up to ₹30–35 LPA for exceptional students, while the average package for CSE hovers around ₹8–10 LPA. The placement cell is highly supportive and conducts mock interviews and resume-building sessions, making the entire process smooth and well-organized, provided you maintain a good CGPA and have solid coding skills.

The course costs around ₹3–3.5 Lakhs per year in tuition alone, excluding hostel and mess fees, making it quite expensive compared to state government colleges. While you get excellent infrastructure, a great campus crowd, and decent placements, the return on investment (ROI) feels just about average if you land a median package. You are paying a premium for the "Symbiosis" brand name and campus life, so it's worth it only if you actively leverage the networking opportunities.
