Academics
The 3-4 credit professors are very cooperative and approachable. They have deep knowledge of their subject. Although the 1-2 credit professors are a little pushy on the submissions. There's way too many submissions for a course that holds very little importance.
College Infra
It has all the necessary facilities and equipments. The labs do have a little old equipments but they work just fine. The college wifi, smart boards and computers are in excellent condition. Hostellites often complain about the food not being hygienic
Campus Life
The campus has a football field, one tennis court, one volleyball court and one basketball court. Apart from that there's a lot of activites one can indulge in all year long. This includes the tech fest, cultural fest, sports event, and concerts.
Placements
I've been told the out of campus placements yield better salaries than those in campus. But the placement cell tries their best to get 100% placements. One can expect to get better placed if they go off campus for placements
Value For Money
The academics fees is 15,00,000 per year. This is not considering the rent, travel, hostel costs. Overall I think it's a tad bit expensive for the quality of it.

SIT uses an assessment model. This means you have to keep studying throughout the semester. You can't just study hard before the end-of-semester exam.
There are assessments, throughout the semester. These help students keep up with the syllabus. Exams are held under supervision.
Faculty also give projects.
So overall academics is good.
College Infra
The environment at SIT Pune is really great for an engineering college. I mean the labs are very good. The sports facilities are also nice. The campus is very pretty. food in the mess and the Wi-Fi in the hostel is not that good.. If you do not mind these things the physical environment at SIT Pune is one of the best you will find at private engineering colleges, in Pune. The SIT Pune campus is very nice. The SIT Pune infrastructure feels very large.
Campus Life
The college has a lot of things going on. It hosts events and cultural fests and hackathons. There are also sports competitions and club activities and workshops. This means that something is always happening on campus.
Students take part in coding clubs and robotics teams. They also like to dance and make music and take photos. Some students even start their businesses through entrepreneurship cells.All these things help students learn skills and make friends. The college is a place for students to get involved in things they like. Students can join coding clubs or robotics teams or other student communities. This helps them build skills and friendships also.
Placements
The institution trains students for 3 to 4 months before the placement season. They focus on skills, aptitude and soft skills. Professional trainers help with this.
Some students get Pre-Placement Offers from companies. Average placement is 15 lakhs per annum.
Value For Money
The B.Tech annual tuition fee at SIT is between ₹3,05,000 to ₹3,80,000 per year. This means the total tuition fee for the 4-year course at SIT is between ₹12.2 lakh and ₹15.2 lakh. This cost depends on the specialisation at SIT.
If you add the hostel and mess fees at SIT the total cost for the year at SIT will be around ₹5–6 lakh per year. For students at SIT the total cost for 4 years will be around ₹20–22 lakh.
That is a lot of money. For Indian middle-class families the cost of studying at SIT is a big thing. Many families have to take education loans to pay the fees at SIT. So the fees is high overall but it's worth it.

With a SITEEE score of 60/120 , getting Computer Engineering / CSE-related branches at SIT Pune is difficult because recent expected cutoffs for CSE have been around 93–95+ marks , while IT has been around 86–88+ marks .
