Abhorrent. Mostly egotistical faculty knowing nothing beyond their own BE or ME probably done from here and working here because anywhere else they won't get value. Everyone behaves like they own students. Extracurricular activities are squashed. Director is far too happy with mass recruitment. Important tools like github are considered hyped up shit here.

If you are in Mumbai, you got to consider this college under your college admission applications. Associated with the Vidyalankar Dyanpeeth Trust (Vidyalanakar Group of Institutes), the management has rich experience in this field since decades. As a result, you will get the best faculty who have good knowledge about their respective fields. If you in Vidyalankar, you don't need to worry about your studies. Just attend regular lectures and you are through. The College not only inculcate the academic skills in one but also encourage you to participate in various extra-curricular activities. On a whole, it inculcates you with rich values and culture to become an overall personality. When it comes to the college Infrastructure, just visit this college once and you will realize it's not like other typical Indian Educational Institutes. It is not a College, it's a Mall. The College has been awarded for "Best Architectural Design and Infracture". The Campus has A.C. Classrooms and well-equipped Labs. The newly constructed Management Building and Auditorium is one to watch for. Vidyalankar recently received an award for its design of Auditorium. When it comes to fees, the structure is according to the Mumbai University and the college nominally charges extra fees for the Maintenance of Campus which pretty much fine. Considering Placements in Computer Engineering Department, this year the college has a record of around 80-90 percent of students recruited by companies. Placement Activities are also carried out to help students pass through the challenging obstacles during placement. Here is the list of Campus Recruiters who visited Vidyankar this year: TCS, L&T, Ingram Micro, iGate, Indian Navy, Zeus Learning, Mu Sigma, Mirraw, Works Applications and the list goes on. The highest compensation this year was 35 LPA ( Works Applications). The crowd in VIT is a mix of all kinds. You will probably enjoy having such an awesome crowd here. If you so much interested in Extra-Curricular activities, you can easily be a part of Student Council and Volunteering Committee in College. The College has around 12 Student Chapters (CSI, IEEE, ACM, etc.), a Student Council (Cultural, Technical, Literary, Sports) and many more other event organising committees. College Festival in VIT (VERVE) is overall an awesome experience. The crowd here helps you grow your personality. You name the event and its in VIT. The college also celebrates GRADUATION DAY every year which you will hardly find in Mumbai. I personally had an awesome experience on that day. When you opting for Masters in Management, you can even apply for Sandwich programs which allow you to do 1 year Education in India and 1 year in the USA. Vidyalankar is associated with foreign institutes for better educational courses. To summarize this college, all you get all ABCs required to start a good career. Hope, you like my review :) Thanks for reading!

If you have ever been to Vidyalankar Institute of technology, your first impression would be whether I am in a mall, there is no parallel to any engineering college in mumbai and not just outside the classrooms inside are no less epic. I had the good fortune of not only being a student here but being on other side as a faculty for a short stint post college. The values I gained in this college and friends I made have made this one helll of an educational trip
