Vidyasagar College offers a clean well maintained campus with good classrooms, reliable facilities and a supportive academic environment. Overall, the infrastructure is impressive and student friendly. We do have laboratories, libraries, sports centres and hostel facilities as well.

The college provides strong academics with dedicated teachers, clear guidance, and a supportive learning environment. Classes are well structured and overall academic quality is consistently good and the curriculum is updated as well.

The college’s placement record is pretty weak, with very limited company visits and fewer job opportunities. Students have to rely on external efforts for internships and career prospects. So for placement it’s not good.

The college is value for money, offering quality education, good facilities, and supportive faculty at an affordable fee. It provides strong returns through learning, exposure, and overall development. The per semester fee of BA English honours is 5k to 7k.

The college offers a vibrant campus life with engaging events, supportive peers, good teachers and a friendly atmosphere. Students enjoy a balanced mix of academic activities and a lively welcoming environment. The location is also very good and easy to reach and also it’s quite safe.

The Kolkata Vidyasagar College has spacious, well ventilated classrooms and air conditioned rooms. Labs are modern and well equipped. Clean and decent infrastructure. The library is large with digital access.

Vidya Sagar, Kolkata offers solid academics with experienced and helpful teachers. The courses are followed as the syllabus of Calcutta University. The college focus on practical learning. The college provide good faculties service.

The Kolkata Vidyasagar College offers moderate jobs and placement opportunities. Most of the students get their job from job fair with recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Amazon and Capgemini. Average salary package ranges 2 - 8 LPA.

Our college is very big and day by day our college is improving a lot. And the teachers of our college encourage us a lot and their behavior is really incomparable and they are very friendly.The food of the canteen in our college is also very good.

Our college is very good in terms of education. Our college is taught by very skilled teachers who are always by our side and provide us with all kinds of facilities in terms of studies.And our college holds many seminars that motivate us a lot about how we can move forward in life.

Our college is very good than others college in terms of education but we do not provide placement from our college. Since our college is under Calcutta University, there is no facility of placement in our college.

The college is more than a century old and is divided in two buildings in the campus, the old one is lacking in infrastructure but the new one is quite good where most of the classes are taken . It's filled with numerous classrooms , labs and a big library. As for the cleanliness it's very clean and hygienic , all the rooms are regularly cleaned and broomed , the bathroom is well maintained.

The professors help you a lot , they always try to give the best teaching they possibly can . I'm pursuing honours in english and the experience so far is good . As I'm under the ccf 2022 batch or the NEP , I can safely tell the curriculum is up-to-date with internship that makes us job ready.

As for the placement, I'm sad that the situation is poor , the college is trying to hold seminars and all but the overall placements scene is not quite good .I can be wrong in the future though , as of now the placement scenario is not good but the college is trying to improve that , so I'm giving poor rating for now.

It's a government aided college, so it's bang for buck , one can get a good degree under 10k INR per year . Comparing the money needed and the education we're getting it's very good .

The faculty and the students are very helpful, you will have both a good time and good education from this institution.

Our college has all the necessary insfrasturcture and facilities for the students .Good auspicious class with high student accomodaton per classroom maintained labs and library canteen and play grounds

I studied BA in Physical Education and the teachers are frindly and can be approached after or during the class for clarity of doubt. Honors departments are also good in the college.And the curricullum is also updated

Placements are frequent and totally depend on the cut off marks required to sit for the interview the students.Accordingl the students are placed in Companies.And the process of placement is Easy and Pleasant.

It's infrastructure is quite good. It's room are quite large enough to accommodate all the students. All the equipment are present in the laboratory as per the student 's requirements. The college is well maintained.

I am studying here as I have got chance according to the merit list. Teachers are quite good here, teachers well. The teachers clears all the doubts of the students. The psychology department in this college is quite good.

It's totally upto the students how they will give the interview. The college always give the support the students whenever they needed. As the company gave the cut off marks, accordingly the students are placed by the college.

As it the government college the package in 3 yrs in quite low compared to the other private colleges which are demanding a quite large amount. Yes I think the money is worth it which I am giving to the college.

The campus life is quite good. Our campus is quite large. In our campus many fests ar also held freshers and farewell are common and many other departmental fests are also there which is arranged by the seniors

Located at the heart of kolkata, this is one of the oldest colleges. Probably it was quite renowned in its initial days but now it is in a pitiable condition. Every year during the monsoon, the college is completely submerged and due to lack of proper drainage system the bathrooms overflow. It is very difficult and unsanitary for the students to attend classes under such conditions.

Though there are a variety of courses offered in the college, i would say the academics are not upto the mark. No creativity and innovative ideas are discussed. Also, library is also quite disappointing. Students probably read the books read by their ancestors. It is very rare to find updated books as per syllabus.

There are absolutely no placements at all. Students have to work hard and keep a track of the companies that they might be interested in. There are no oportunities for any internship or summer projects as well.

Being a college affiliated under the university of calcutta, the fees is relatively low with respect to other private colleges in the city. Students also get benifit of scholarships and waivers based on their academic performance and family background.

Some events like fest and saraswati puja are organised in the campus but no other notable and essential events like sports and other extracurricular activities are not paid attention to. Also sometimes quarrels and fights break out among union people and students

Wouldn't recommend joining this college.

Just the bare minimum present. Infrastructure needs upgrades. The system too is sub par. Would prefer it to be modern and time saving. This segment needs work. Extensive attention from the management would do the trick.

Personally, the Department of Economics is one of the best in the college. However the course is traditional and theoretical in nature. Not suitable for candidates looking for a job after graduation. Reorganization much needed.

Have little knowledge about this segment and according to common news around, this too would do much better with proper attention given to it. Placements must have been difficult but the college would no doubt be supportive.

My course was very affordable with the total being under a few thousands. Very cheap compared to the other colleges, though that comes with its own costs. Definitely got back my money's worth in my three years there.

Would have preferred a better student crowd and environment. Took a while for me to adjust. Everyone does their job. Location is prime and somewhere safe too. Emergencies should be dealt with rather easily.

There are always better places you can aim for.

First of all, this college has its own heritage. The infrastructure is good but buildings are too old. I think those buildings need maintenance. Wi-Fi is available in campus but its condition is critical. Otherwise, labs are normal.

Our teachers are very knowledgeable and supportive also. They teach very well. In my department, Our HOD is very helpful and knowledgeable person. Every student respect him a lot. I think every department need this type of teachers.

This is a government college. I doesn't provide direct placement or on campus recruitment facility. In my stream most of the students prefers to higher studies. But there are some teachers who guided us to find out internship from outside.

This college is one of my favorite place. And its infrastructure is awesome. Though from outside it looks like small college, but actually the indoor space of the college is quite big. Every building has its own heritage in their own.

Teachers are much supportive. There are so many popular teachers who wrote famous books. So you can easily understand how their teaching quality is. Apart this, only the worst thing in here is politics.

Though it doesn't arrange any direct on campus recruitment, but with the help of the teachers students become enough capable for getting job. Teachers help us to grab better career opportunities . Otherwise, there are some departments where on campus recruitment are going on after 2023.
