Vidyasagar College Kolkata was founded in 1872 under the name of the Metropolitan Institute by Pundit Ishwar Chandra. The college has been accredited and graded B++ by NAAC. The college has 22 classrooms of various sizes, including some connected to laboratories. The Vidyasagar College Kolkata has a computer lab for educating and training students in modern language studies and linguistics methods.etc

College Infrastructure
Though its some of the buildings are old, but those historical buildings of Vidyasagar College is one of the reason to get admitted in college as students of humanities like me. Now there are many new buildings, well-maintained laboratories, playground and obviously college canteen also.
My experience was quite good and satisfying.

College infrastructure is quite satisfactory. It also contain some of the historical buildings which is point of attraction for outsiders. Overall classrooms, labs, and the living spaces are equipped clean and hygienic.
