Our department (Electrical) is very old. It's one of the oldest buildings on campus. Labs are new and good. The Wi-Fi facility is good in the hostel and on campus. The library is very old and has a vast variety of books. Hostel rooms are quite congested and old. Food was average and not really tasty. There will be a special dinner every month. Sports activity is a must in the first year, and medical facilities are good.
Few professors are really good, and few are relatively bad. All of them are highly qualified. They teach well. The course curriculum is good, and all students and teachers are good. Semester exams are relatively tough but not so easy. The pass percentage is almost 75 percent.
Placements were good till last year in my course. Now they have reduced. The average package this year has even reduced. Placements this year are not good. The highest package was from ECE being 88 Lacs, and from our branch was around 50 LPA. Recruiting companies include Google, Microsoft, Wipro, and so on. Students get good internships from good companies.
Infrastructure is good and each course has individual labs with AC and required equipment, and classrooms for all students. Transport, free Wi-Fi, sports are available, and the library has a number of books for all courses. The canteen offers different types of items, etc.
The faculty here is knowledgeable and supportive, helping students achieve good marks. They are well-educated and well-trained in their subjects, and their teaching quality is solid. They are also effective in clearing any doubts related to their subjects. Passing semester exams here is generally manageable.
Placements here are strong, with the highest packages ranging from 10-11 LPA, an average package of 5-6 LPA, and the lowest around 2-3 LPA. Top recruiters include companies like Tata, DXC, TCS, Amazon, Flipkart, Infosys, and Tech Mahindra. The CSE department plays a significant role in these placements.
The college offers basic facilities and infrastructure. The courses are fairly average, and while each department has Wi-Fi, it's restricted to faculty use. Hostel facilities are below standard, and the food quality in both the mess and canteen leaves much to be desired. Additionally, sports and games are seldom organized on campus.
Some teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, though the overall quality of teaching is average. The course, however, doesn't adequately prepare students for the industry. JNTUH needs to update the curriculum to make it more relevant. The semester exams can be somewhat challenging, with a pass rate of about 60 to 70%.
The CSM course is a relatively new branch, with the first graduating class set for 2024. The average package offered for this course ranges from INR 2 to 6 LPA. The percentage of students securing internships is quite low. The roles offered in this course are primarily focused on AI and ML.
Hostels and infrastructure was very good Wi-Fi will be provided throughout the campus. A huge library was there. The mess and canteen food were nice. Medical facilities are available. Hostel food is also very good; classrooms are very clean.
The teachers were above average; mostly we want to study. Semester exams are easy, and students can easily pass. They will provide only material for reading and understanding, which we have to study on our own. The course curriculum is relevant; it makes the students industry-ready.
Above 80 percent of students mostly get placed. So many specializations are there in computer science engineering itself; they will provide courses according to the students. Microsoft, Google, Hyper verge, Siemens, etc. are the top recruiters.
The college excels in terms of facilities. It features a sprawling 250-acre green campus with state-of-the-art laboratories equipped with world-class equipment. Each classroom is monitored by surveillance cameras and includes a smart board to enhance learning. While some argue that the hostels are overpriced, the mess offers good-quality food at reasonable rates. Additionally, a nearby hospital charges only 10 rupees per checkup for students. The campus promotes fitness and well-being by providing excellent facilities for sports such as badminton, tennis, football, and cricket.
The faculty at this college, along with its environment, is its greatest strength. They are not only supportive but also serve as mentors. The course curriculum is somewhat relevant, with regular exams and practicals helping students stay engaged, though its effectiveness largely depends on the student's approach. The semester exams are manageable with proper preparation, but can be challenging if you don't study. The pass rate stands at 50%.
The highest package in this academic year was 57 LPA, according to the website, whereas the average package was 7.5 LPA. There were many companies that came for recruitment like TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Amazon, etc. In my course, many seniors are offered core jobs in various electronic industries.
The classrooms and labs are well-organized and equipped with reliable Wi-Fi, CCTV, smart boards, and projectors. Our college boasts a large central library spanning four floors, offering a wide range of books that can be checked out. There are multiple food courts and canteens on campus, providing a variety of snacks and meals at reasonable prices. The college also hosts sports events and provides all necessary facilities. Although I don’t reside in the hostel, my friends who do say that the rooms are comfortable and the food is good.
The faculty members here are highly qualified, and the quality of teaching is excellent. In the second year and beyond, the subjects become more professional, while the first year mainly covers material from 11th and 12th grades. Each academic year includes two semester exams and three class tests per semester. These class tests are valuable for preparing for the main exams and maintaining good internal marks. The knowledge gained from classroom teaching is usually sufficient to achieve a good grade, as the exams are moderately challenging. Only about three or four students typically fail.
In 2024, the highest package offered was 52 LPA, with the average package standing at 7.5 LPA. To be eligible for campus placements, students need to maintain a CGPA of 8 or higher. Over 835 companies visited for campus recruitment, including major firms like TCS, Mahindra, Wipro, and Samsung. The college has a strong track record for job placements.
The library spans two floors and houses a wide range of books on core CSE subjects like DBMS, Compiler Design, and Networking, along with other literature books. Wi-Fi is available in the hostels and college classrooms, but it’s often unreliable. The quality of the hostels varies; some of the non-AC hostels are quite cramped, and I wouldn’t recommend them. If budget allows, the AC hostels are a better option, though they are expensive. The food, however, is not great and I wouldn’t recommend it either.
The majority of the faculty members here hold Ph.D. or Master's degrees. However, teaching effectiveness isn't solely determined by qualifications. While some teachers genuinely strive to provide quality education, others can make things difficult by assigning excessive work or being stingy with grades. Occasionally, there are instances of personal bias. Fortunately, these cases are rare, and I have encountered several supportive teachers who have been very helpful. Our curriculum is relevant and aligns well with industry standards, focusing primarily on DBMS, Operating Systems, and Networking, much like other colleges. The semester exams are relatively straightforward, and most students can achieve good grades by studying just a few days beforehand. Overall, obtaining good grades here is easier compared to many private colleges.
Due to the ongoing recession, securing placements has become more challenging. However, our college has been proactive in bringing in a variety of companies, including startups and large recruiters like Accenture, TCS, and Infosys. So far, around 200 out of 4000 students have secured internships. The highest package offered is 33 LPA by PayPal, while the lowest is 4 LPA by Accenture. The average package ranges from 8 to 10 LPA, with startups like Kalvium and Mindsprint offering competitive opportunities.
The facilities here are quite satisfactory. We have well-equipped labs, reliable Wi-Fi, spacious classrooms, and a well-stocked library. The hostels offer clean rooms, though the food is average, with the canteen providing better variety. Medical facilities are adequate, and the sports amenities are excellent, offering a wide range of games and activities.
The teachers are generally helpful and well-informed. The teaching quality is solid, and the curriculum is industry-relevant, effectively preparing us for future careers. Semester exams are challenging but manageable with consistent study. The minimum pass mark in finals is around 50%.
The placement rate is strong, with nearly 65% of graduates securing jobs. The highest package offered to a fresher was 18 LPA, the lowest was 3.5 LPA, and the average was 6 LPA. Top recruiters included Ashok Leyland, Tata Motors, and Hyundai. However, internship opportunities were limited. The most common roles were design engineer and quality analyst.
This college has an outstanding beautiful and greenish environment. And the campus is aesthetic and huge, And has most of the facilities except for the shortage of food outlets. Mess and hostel fees is very reasonable.
Teachers are well qualified professionals as everyone are PhDs. Our academic knowledge will also help us to make ourselves job ready and industry relevant. The curriculum is regularly updated to include the latest developments in healthcare, ensuring that we are equipped with current knowledge and skills.
Most of our students get placed of most of the departments, In this matter, our college has bit advantage compared to other institutions. Our professors also have good connections, which will be very beneficial in this matter. Summer internships are done in various cities.
The laboratories contain all the necessary equipments and are in working condition. Specialized labs for different disciplines like information technology, Computer science, electronic etc. Well maintained hygiene protocols in canteen and water coolers area. A collection of books, journals and periodicals, possibly with digital resources and online access.
Every professor whom I have met so far has immense knowledge of the subject which he or she is teaching and are quite cooperative and approachable. Although the quality of teaching is good and they follow the new syllabus. And they treated us with respect and was interested in helping and supporting us.
Our college affiliated Andhra University and provides 85% of placement guarantee to every students from different course as well as different branches. we got internship opportunities from college placement cell they are all paid internship and having a good stipend there are many big companies. And they gives good packages also.
