72 MonthsDoctor of Philosophy in Management is 3 to 6 years, the student has to finish between this timeline to obtain the Ph.D. degree and offered by VIT Business School, Vellore.
Eligibility Criteria
The candidate should possess a Master of Business Administration or M.E./ M.Tech. with a first-class or a minimum of 60% marks. If the University/Institute does not award any class, the CGPA of the candidate must be 6.5 on a 10 point scale to pursue the degree.
Admission Details
- Applications will be invited by open advertisement in all leading newspapers / local announcements for all categories of candidates mentioned in section 2.
- Doctoral candidates should take VITREE (VIT Research Entrance Examination) choosing a field of their specialization.
- Selected candidates will be called for a personal interview conducted at the campus where the admission is sought.
- Final Selection will be based on the overall merit index of the candidate which will be arrived at by taking into account the candidate’s performance in the previous university examinations at the Master’s level and the performance in the written test, research output and / the performance in a personal interview at VIT.

College Infrastructure
The college infrastructure is very good interms of labs and computer as well as simulation labs with latest trending softwares. The central library is very good with centralised AC. Now they have introduced the newly online returning policy as well it make very easy to return the books.
