Andhra university today is not something that you heard about 10 years ago.

100% placements in AU is exaggeration..If you are a CSE,ECE or IST student then you will have more chances to be offered by some reputed software companies like infosys,wipro,TCS,FTDetc with a package ranging from 3–10lpa.Atleast 75% students will be placed at the end of their graduation.

But if you are a student from any core branch like chemical mechanical marine etc you will be called for interview by some software companies having package less than 4lpa and 20% of your class may be recruited and there are few chances for core placements and on an average you will be paid somewhere in between 3–6lpa.

I can tell you about chemical engg the core companies that will recruit you will be AUROBINDO,Dr.REDDY’S LABORATORIES,GVK BIO,DECCAN CHEMICALS(recruit only boys) etc and all together they will recruit less than 20 students.

And so there are more chances that you will be recruited by software companies than core companies.

For CSE branch JNTU Kakinada is best as the college is among the top colleges in the state and many top IT companies visit the college for campus placements and the infrastructure and the food canteen is great in the college also the teaching is highly professional so overall I would recommend you JNTU Kakinada college for pursuing CSE.
