Andhra University has College of Arts and Commerce, College of Engineering, College of Science and Technology, College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar College of Law. College of Arts and Commerce doesn't offer Bachelor degree courses. College of Engineering offers B.E/B.Tech in Civil, Marine, Mechanical, Electronics and Communications, Electrical and Electronics, Computer Science, Metallurgical, Naval, Instrumentation, Chemical, Geo-Informatics, Ceramic and Bio Technology streams. College of Science and Technology offers no Bachelor's courses. College of Pharmaceutical Sciences offers B.Pharmacy. Dr. B.R. Ambedkar College of Law offers LLB courses. Now a days the demand for Geoinformatics is increasing day by day and various research work is going on based on this topic. It is very interesting subject too. After completing Btech in Geoinformatics if you want to get job in ISRO you have to apply ICRB exam i.e. ISRO Centralised  Recruitment Board exam. The exam is conducted by ICRB for scientist and Engineer recruitment.

Among lead(Pb), Silver(Ag), Gold (Au) and Tin(Sn), the two elements lead(Pb) and Tin(Sn) are post transition Elements Whereas the remaining two Gold(Au) and Silver(Ag) are transition Elements.

Note: Post-transition metals are a set of metallic elements in the periodic table located between the transition metals to their left, and the metalloids to their right.

Since your education has been completed in Andhra Pradesh, you won't be getting the home state quota . It is clearly mentioned in state of eligibility that the state from where you have completed your class 12 will be applicable to your home state quota.

Gayatri Vidya Parishad college of engineering is a good private college situated at Visakhapatnam. Computer science and engineering in this college costs 4.34 lacs. But the placement rate is not too good about 40 to 50%.

In another hand the other college is also so a good private college. The course fee is quite less year 3.66 lacs. The placement rate is also good about 60 to 70%. The average salary about 3.5 lacs.

So you should go for 2nd college.

To get admission into BTech for mechanical engineering at Andra University, you have to appear Andhra university engineering entrance test.

Eligibility criteria:- candidates must have secured minimum 50% in 12th from a recognized board.

Fee structure:- 3.45 lakhs for 1st year and 2.89 lakhs for 2nd to 4rth year.

Andhra University had ranked 36 by NIRF and had 47 rank in world university ranking.

Placement is good where students getting placed in too MNC with salary range from 3lpa to 13 lpa.
