It depends on the Reservation category you are from and the Local Area.

“ Caste Category (if reservation applies) - Local Area (AU or SVU)”.

The rank which you get after attending for Counselling is the deciding factor for First Phase seat allocation meanwhile they consider all the reservation factors on the candidate. The thing is, even though you got good rank and you are not from AU local area, you may get competition from Reservation students (SC/ST or others) in getting seat.

I can explain the possibility like this

there are chances of getting seat in AU is more when you are from AU local area+Good Rank or AU local area+Reservation (Caste/Sex) or SVU/AU local area+Best Rank.

Placements of AU

Good renowned companies like Bosch, L&T, Microsoft, TCS, Infosys, Coromandel, etc. come offering placements. The average salary per annul is 8 LPA, the highest was 13LPA and the lowest was 4 LPA. Almost all the students did get internships except for those who had backlogs. There is a placement cell in the college which is headed by highly experienced professors who guide the students in every possible way.

Placements of GVP

An average number of students with a good percentage will be chosen for the written test for interviews. The highest salary package offered was 14 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was 3.50 LPA. Wipro, TCS and other companies have visited the college for placements.
