Dear aspirant,if your rank is above 1000 then you must read this answer carefully to avoid wasting of time and your FIRST PREFERENCE CHANCES IN FIRST ROUND COUNSELLING of APICET.
today(on 9/5/2019) i went to AU DOA (Directorate of admissions) and met one of the MBA professor there and found this details which i compiled and wrote down.
1.ANDHRA UNIVERSITY has 120 MBA seats.
2.rankers from 1 to 1000 will be given FIRST PREFERENCES by any means.
3.if the seats still fallen vacant after 1000 ranker also, then they consider rankers from 1001 to 1050 to fill the vacancy.
4.a maximum of 2 seats falls vacants under different circumstances,as it did happened in 2 or 3 times in last 6 years-as he said by stats they have in records.
5.but REMEMBER THAT 120 SEATS CAN BE EASILY OCCUPIED BY RANKERS AMONG 1-1000.
6.So, if your rank is above 1000 then you must try for other colleges as early as possible.
7.MANAGEMENT SEAT COSTS 1.5LAKH AS OF LAST YEAR.it could hike this year.
you know your rank so find where exactly you will get MBA seat rather hoping for AU OR some other university with 2000,3000 and above ranks.otherwise you would be just wasting time and first round counselling chance but nothing.
i request rankers above 1000 should keep this in mind plz dont loose your MBA seat waiting somewhere based on your rank card.
if your rank card is not satisfying to get MBA seat in your prefered university as per their asmission requirments, plz dont wast your valuable first round counselling for that university/college.
definitely you will get MBA seat in some other college/university based on your rank so adhere to ground reality and use your option carefully.
otherwise in second round of counselling, you have to go for much down grade colleges/university that which would be not feasible to you.
to the conclusion,
this is the information i gathered on full day effort so plz do share this with other aspirants of this stream.
thank you and all the very very best to y'll.

Hey Mahuri,
You should have a recognized bachelor's degree with minimum 50% marks if you're general or 45% marks in case of ST/SC reserved category in the qualifying examination with maths or one of the subject at 10+2 level.
You will be selected on the basis of APICET which will be a 200 multiple choice paper. You should secure atleast 25% marks in this exam if you're from general category and no minimum percentage if you're SC/ST.
Hope this helps, all the best.
The college also has several well-maintained auditoriums and seminar halls, where guest lectures and events are regularly held. In terms of recreational facilities, the college offers a gym, sports courts, and a student activity center. While the overall infrastructure is excellent, the college could improve its parking facilities, as space can be limited during peak hours.
college has all the infrastructure, facilities and well equipped labs. campus has wifi, smart classrooms, projectors, practical knowledge labs and classrooms. living space is clean and food is hygienic also
College has some better infrastructure facilities like clean and neat campus, good buildings and classrooms etc. Even though the classrooms are yet to be improvised with modern updations like projectors. Campus in not wifi enabled
