your rank is decent. as you can easily get the admission in vishakapatnam. but mainly all is depend upon the rank and cut off. so you should wait for the cut off. adn then after take some steps. just visit the collega and ask them for asmission they will guide you more properly. all the best .

Dont worry about it,you can get seat in andhra university by aueet exam.As a au student ,i suggest you to go for 2nd and 3rd counsellings.Try to get seat in cse department .It is the best department if you go through the aueet exam.I even suggest you to go through the eamcet counsellings ,if you rank is less tham 25000.

Hi Meghna, For branches like Case,mech,ece,civil u need to get at least 1000 to 1500 rank if u are in open category. There are other small branches like metallurgy , marine,civil environmental. For getting a seat in these small branches u need not have a good rank like 1000 to 1500. Ranks from 4000 to 5000(open category ) are enough . With a ranl of 5000 you can get civil environmental branch. Civil and civil environmental don't have much difference.the difference is in 4th year u subjects will differ from civil subjects.

With the rank 2040 you can apply in the C grade colleges which are in Chitoor,Vijaywada, Vishakhapatnam and Kurnool. Whether you are eligible for Andhra university or not depends on the category you belong to. So please provide me with that information to get the full details.

Hi Keerthi, You cannot get at Au for rank 73000.

But,there is an alternate option,I.e,you can write AUEET exam conducted by A.U. So that you can gat a seat at A.U
