• The challenge window for the answer key is currently ongoing online from July 7, 2024, to July 9, 2024.
• The tentative date for the online publication of results is July 10, 2024.
• On July 10, 2024, JoSAA will conduct Round 4 of counselling for seat allocation online. Following that, on July 17, 2024, Round 5 of JoSAA counselling for seat allocation will also take place online.
• A re-examination for CUET UG 2024 is scheduled to be conducted online from July 15, 2024, to July 19, 2024.
• The NEET PG 2024 exam, with a revised date, will be conducted online on August 11, 2024.
•  The cut-off date for completing the mandatory internship, which is required for eligibility to take the PG entrance test is August 15, 2024.

Previously known as Bhopal University, Barkatullah University was founded in 1970 in the capital city of Madhya Pradesh. In 1988, it was renamed Barkatullah Vishwavidyalaya in honor of the renowned freedom fighter, Professor Barkatullah, who hailed from Bhopal. Barkatullah University earned a 'B' grade accreditation from NAAC in 2015. This Barkatullah University provides a range of higher education programmes, delivering courses through its affiliated colleges and university teaching departments across various faculties.

The courses at Bhopal University include B.Ed Self Finance, B.Pharma, BA LLB, B.P.Ed, BA Sociology Hons, MBA, M.Com, LLM, MA, MSc, PGD, and PhD among others. The territorial jurisdiction of Barkatullah University encompasses eight districts: Bhopal, Sehore, Vidisha, Raisen, Hoshangabad, Harda, Betul, and Rajgarh. The Barkatullah University has provided affiliation to 1 Engineering College, 2 Colleges of Education, 1 Technical Teachers Training Institute, 3 Medical Colleges, a College of Indology and Museology an English language Teachers Training institute, Unani, Ayurvedic, Physiotherapy and Homoeopathic Colleges. The Barkatullah University accepts examinations such as  CUET/NEET PG/AIAPGET/CMAT/JEE Main for admission.

Barkatullah University Bhopal Location 

BU Bhopal is situated on a sprawling campus spanning approximately 400 acres, the BU Bhopal is positioned alongside the Hoshangabad highway, approximately 3 kilometers away from the Habibganj Railway Station. The railway station is 6.5 km away from Bhopal. From the Habibganj railway station, the distance of  Bhopal University is 3 km. Students can reach there via Narmadapuram road. Public transport facility is available from the railway station.
