Gautam buddha University has a great infrastructure with all facilities and has a proper classes and hostel facility. It has an area of 511acr with teacher residence it has very big library and every game courts
The teacher in this college is average but they are very helpful in nature they support in every things and they are very friendly in nature they are supporting nautre and they are teach in very interesting way
Placements are quite low but some placement are of 40 lakh per annum and average placements are of 4-5 lakh per annum. Many companies visit here and some of our senior are in very good mnc as they are placed from our gbu placements
The infrastructure of GBU is phenomenal. It has a huge lush green campus. All the departments and hostels are well planned. It just needs time to time maintenance, which gets delayed everytime. Classrooms and labs are also good.
Teachers at Biotechnology department are surely the best. They have so much knowledge and have good teaching skills. Curriculum is actually good and all the teachers are highly qualified. If you study well, you can definitely score good.
Placements specially in biotechnology department are close to none. Because of the previous batches, it has also been blacklisted from some companies. Placement cell of GBU is indeed not at all satisfactory. It is a big 'no' if you are looking for a placement from here until you do it off campus.
Course fee is ₹75,000 per semester which gets increasing with every coming batch. But I would say in terms of teaching, it is good. But the fees comprises lab activities and AC's as well which do not work, specially in the biotech department. Basic facilities in the lab are good, but there are many things which do not even work here.
Campus life is good, if you make good friends. There are affordable canteens, cafe, stationary and bakery shops here. But the major crowd here is just so dull. It is filled with locals, disrespectful and egoistic people. The teachers and staff are although very helpful and they do help in such cases.
It is good if you just want to study. If you want to come here for placements, then the harsh reality is that you won't get any, and if yes then only a very few will. All the people are not bad, there are many nice ones as well, but the bad one's definitely outshines here.
Gautam buddha university has a very good infrastructure. New technology and have the necessary equipment for the student and the student have single persons single room no roommates are their in the room
Study are normal teacher don't come to the class and scoring in gautam buddha university is normal no extra thing are not allowed and the placement are normal teacher always help us to reach good marks
Gautam buddha university provides good placement to the college students appeared for placement with the average package of 3 lakh the senior are very good they are working on good big company so they recommend us
Gautam buddha university has a very good infrastructure with all the facilities and have a total area of 511 acr with hostel and college facilities colleges are full ac facilities and have a very good vibes.
Gautam buddha university has a good academics. Curriculum is upto date and include all the new data or material of study and teachers are supportive in nature and they help in the placement procedure the teacher gives our reference to the company
The placement of the college is good they bring the comapny to the college and recommend us to the main company of marketing and finance tha average salary package is 8-10 lakhs which means the ROI IS GOOD
Infrastructure is good and classrooms are good and well maintained library provide all the books that we need .we have good connection of wifi in our classrooms and the food provided by the mess is good enough.
I am currently pursuing integrated course of btech mtech from biotechnology . professors in my department are well educated and guide us . Their way of teaching is very good .They use different ways to make the subject interesting.
Placements are poor .In biotechnology we could hardly get any company. Most of the companies have blacklisted the university because of which there is hardly any placement . There are much less opportunities for us for getting placed.
I am pursuing integrated course of btech mtech from biotechnology so the cost of my course per year is 152000.Fee is too much high according to government college .Money will be worth to me if I get good placement.
Campus Life is good but some changes are to be done in the university in response to the timings.girls hostel timing is 7:00pm in summers and 6:30 in winters . hostel caretakers are sometime very rude to the girls.
No
This college does not have all the facilities. Yes, the built up of this university is good but all facilities are not up to the mark. Labs are finely equipped with all the equipment . There are ACs in all the school. Earlier the food was not that great but now as the tender changed the quality of the food improved
I am persuing biotechnology as it is a highly blooming career. The acedamics and the course structure is really good and professors are really cooperative. Academics wise this university is good and teachers helps you with the national level entrance exams.
Placements are not up to the mark. Only the mba placements as well managable but for other courses you can’t say anything. Even after being a state university they have very little placements. For mba the placement are still available here and the placement cell is working on to approach for companies.
My course cost 1.5 lakhs per year and hostel costs 75000 per year. I dont feel like getting the worth of the money our parents invested here because we don’t have ac in our school even after giving this much amount of money.
Campus life is good here . Students can join various cocurricular activities and engage in sports club. Clubs like dance , music and drama are there . Ncc camps also happen here . The location is safe as the hostel timings for the girls are till 7pm in the evening.
If you are interested in technical courses you can take admission but for any other course i would suggest you to look into other colleges.
gbu is a higher education that has a higher education institute that has truly impressed me . situated in the hear of india this university offer a well rounded educational experience that combines academic excellence.
one of the standout features of gautam buddha university it is commitment to inter disciplinary studies. the curriculum encourages students to explore a wide range of subjects fostering a holistic approach.
however one area were gautam buddha university could improve is in its career services department as more support in term of internship and job placement would be beneficial and gbu also tries support students in every possible way as they could
Infrastructure of this college is very good and the area is very wide and I liked the vegitation here and the Atmosphere also it's seem like heaven and the playing ground is very good and the badminton court is also good
The campus itself is a serene and picturesque setting, providing an ideal environment for learning and personal growth. The modern infrastructure, well-equipped libraries, and state-of-the-art labs enhance the overall learning experience. Furthermore, the university promotes a vibrant extracurricular scene, with numerous clubs and societies for students to engage in. This helps in nurturing talents beyond academics and building a strong sense of community.
However, one area where Gautam Buddha University could improve is in its career services department, as more support in terms of internships and job placements would be beneficial. In conclusion, Gautam Buddha University is a well-rounded institution that offers a comprehensive education in a beautiful setting. With a few improvements in career services, it has the potential to become a top-tier educational destination.

Student Preparation for UPSC and GATE:
Many B.Tech students at Gautam Buddha University (GBU), Noida , prepare for competitive exams like UPSC Civil Services (CSE), Engineering Services (ESE), and GATE alongside their studies.
The university does not have dedicated coaching for UPSC CSE or ESE, but students rely on self-study, coaching institutes, and online platforms .
GATE preparation is more common among students from branches like ECE, EE, and ME , and some faculty members guide students for technical exams.
Library and Study Support:
GBU has a well-equipped library where students access study materials for UPSC, GATE, and other government exams.
Some student groups and societies organize discussions and peer-study groups for civil services aspirants.
Placement Scenario at GBU Noida:
Placement opportunities at GBU vary based on the branch and industry demand.
Companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, HCL, and Cognizant visit the campus for IT and engineering-related roles.
The average salary package ranges from 3 LPA to 6 LPA , depending on the branch and student performance.
Core branches (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical) have relatively lower placement percentages in comparison to CSE and IT , but students opt for government exam preparation.
Higher Studies and Research:
Some students prefer higher education options such as M.Tech through GATE or MBA through CAT/XAT .
A few students also explore research opportunities in IITs and NITs through GATE scores.
Conclusion:
While GBU Noida does not provide dedicated coaching for UPSC or GATE , students prepare for these exams independently.
Placement opportunities are available but highly dependent on skills, internships, and individual efforts.
Students interested in government jobs or public sector roles should actively participate in self-study groups, online coaching, and mock tests .
