Infrastructure is best compared to other college. It has all the basic facilities such as good classrooms with central AC system, laboratories, sports Centre and hostels are equipped with high-speed LAN internet. This college has very big library with more than 65000 books.
Teachers are supportive and they are highly educated nearly every professor has PhD in their field. Curriculum is same as other colleges and this college follows the rules and regulations of UGC. Overall, its good.
Placement is good. If you have proper skills, you could get placed. Many students have been placed. This college has its own placement cell which contact companies for internship opportunities and placement.
Fees is little bit high.
This is the place where you can get best campus life and momories for whole life.
Overall all college is good but fees is little bit high.
Yes college have all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipments. Each and every classroom has projector, well furnished, good and working well established labs are there. Library se amazingly awesome, lots of games and sports opportunities are there for students.
I m studying in biotechnology department. My specification is basically MSc. In biotechnology. Biotechnology department is one of the famous and good department in University every single faculty has its own fully funded project.
Proper placement faculty is there which help students for placement. They provide notification and even mock interview for placement. Helping, kinding and hardworking. 8-9 cgpa or good vocabulary skills are basically required for placement.
ac classrooms, laboratories with all required equipment in working condition, a really big library with a variety of publications, indoor stadium, cricket and football stadium, tennis and basketball court, swimming pool, not wifi but LAN which gives even better speed and you can install your own router
B.Tech - Electrical Engineering M.Tech - Instrumentation and Control. Really good teachers who are from IITs. they teach really good and explain everything. and it is a govt university not private.....
Placements have been good for past few years. Especially for MBA and CSE. I did not apply from college. I got my job from off campus placements. But placements are good at university and they will be better soon.
GBU has simply stunning infrastructure that 2 at such a low cost(since it's a gov't institution),and btw infrastructure is the best in the subcontinent. the mess food is also very clean and tasty. Gautam Buddha University College of has the best infrastructure. Newly build buildings, classes, laboratories, sports complex, synthetic athletic ground, tennis court. The University has excellent hostel facility, rooms, campus Wi-Fi facility and hostel Wi-Fi facility.
The syllabus was updated from the starting of the classes. Faculties have a good knowledge of the subjects and are very supportive towards the students. GBU has permanent (M.Tech/PhD) and guest faculties who have good command in their respective subjects. But sometimes Teachers fail to explain and impart the practical knowledge.
Placements are quite good here. There are 80% placements. Major recruiters are Honda, Toyota, Wipro, Tata, Paytm, Oppo, Oyo, NIIT, Bikano, HCL, Justdial, NTT Data, Hindustan Times, Azim Premji Foundation, Indiamart, Airtel, HDFC Bank, Yes Bank, Bank of Baroda, Aakash institutes, Somany, Tosoh, Kotak, Aditya Birla Trust, LG, American express, Berger, Genpact, Dexune, Calvin Klein, Kent, Nagarro. The highest package has been 11 lakhs and the lowest was 3 lakhs per annum.
The campus life at GBU is amazing. There is a well-equipped library with books from different genres, journal, periodicals, etc. There is NCC, NSS, sports facilities, cultural council, clubs, laboratories for all science course, shopping centre, dispensary, student accommodation facility, a really big auditorium, there are dining services for which you don't have to pay separately it is included in hostel fees. There is an evening out [grand walk], meditation centre, Shanti Sarovar.
This being a fully residential campus; they provide in-campus residence. The area is green, campus has 5 grounds for various sports. Overall, it gives to good feel to stay on campus.
My college has a lot facilities. It has a different varieties of every possible facilities . Wifi facilities also available to great extent . And place is also very hygiene and clean . And food quality is way better.
I have done my LLM because in this field I have to research work because I am literally interested in the research work. And quality of teaching, teach to the students by way of conducting good lectures to all students.
In the law field there is limited scope of placement because in that field there is alot nlus and it has been the quality of placement at my college. 90percentage of students were placed .it was the highest
Gautam Buddha University has one of the best campus throughout the nation , its campus is equally equivalent to IITs and NITs , they have a huge campus of around 511 acre in greater Noida , they have hostel facility with single head rooms , they have ac classrooms , big laboratories , wifi , water cooler , gym , libraries , dispensaries , etc.
Gbu has the top class faculties of 10+ years of experience , their curriculum is up to date and have all aspects of engineering which requires in industries , their study will for sure give you a good decent package . I'm studying bachelor of biotechnology , which is the future branch of biotechnology my curriculum has been last updated in session 2018-19.
Placement are average here because it the b grade government university , but in last few years there has been some drastic change in placements , college have their own placement desk or cell which provides some recruitments of 3 4 lpa . In year 2020 due to covid placements held online in which few students placed around ctc of 4 5 lpa
Their feek hike policy is going out of hand they increases fees around 10 15 percent every year , my course costs me around 10 lpa which includes mess and hostel facilities too which is a number of IITs , they should concern about it and make education pocket friendly for all. Money is worth for infrastructure , education and campus but not for placement and crowd.
Campus life is cool through they have abhivyanjana as their annual fest , they are many sport tournaments held occasionally also their are many inter events like dancing , robotic events held around month of June july August.
Overall the college is good , due to covid situation my college life is going online , there are few things which I'm concerned about are placements and fees hike policy .
Gautam Buddha University has a huge campus including world class library ,college campus full AC,Internet, clean mess with 3 star level food, single room for students and evey asset that any college needs.
In college you are very free to work upon on your interests. Teachers don't like spoon feeding, self study is core principle for placement in this college other wise you will have only paper deegre on passing out.
Placement is not so good since it is new college very few companies come and specially for non-core branches.very soon there is a possibility it will become a central government ruled university from state government then it can be comprable with IIT ,NIT for sure
Yeah .if you can utilize the college resources. I mean the library, labs, and 24 hours A.C room for reading. The teachers are very friendly as well as seniors. They will always stand for you regarding your studies.
It's outstanding living in Campus you will overwhelm by the beauty and environment and the culture of our college. Boy's don't have any type of restrictions so they enjoy lot no matter what is the time of night.
First year was awesome. I enjoyed dance ,dramatics ,street-play and the 24 hour reading room on full A.C .but then covid pandemic came .
Yes ,my college have all the necessary facilities and very giod infrastrucure.Yes in my college has libraries and labiratory also.Yes all the classroom was very clean and food was also very hygienic and tasty.
I have completed my MBA because i have keen interest in financial Management .All the teachers were very knowlegable and supportive. They give us very easy and quick learning guidliness.Yes my study was maid me job ready and i am working in a bank.
Yes there was a facility of job placement but i have not taken. No idea about placement .I think they were offering only 15000 to 20000 per month for placement job.Yes college was supportive but i did not take placement.
Yes all was very Economic and affordable.75k per year .yes worthfull.
Outstanding.
State of the art infrastructure is present. Classrooms have all facilities like computer, sound system etc . Hostels are clean and spacious. Each person gets a single room. Mess is hygienic and nice. There are big sport centres with grounds for football, volleyball, hockey, etc.
Some professors are good and provide good knowledge. Curriculum is not updated accordingly to recent developments and it doesn't make you job ready. You have to study yourself in order to derive value from the course.
Placements started during my final year. Not everyone got placement. But college is trying hard to keep pace so situation will get better in coming years. Many students started taking internships in final year and converted that as PPO, so that's also an option.
It's an okay place to study. Choose something else if you get a better option. If you're not getting a scholarship then you might want to choose some other place to study. If you believe in yourself and think you can study yourself and do good anywhere, then this is the place to be.
Campus Life is good. There are functions and activities to keep engagement. The college is a hub for bollywood shooting, so you might see few stars in your tenure there. Overall it's a good place to be if you have nice friends group.
It was an overall good experience.
The college is outstanding in terms of infrastructure. It have all the necessary facilities for students like labs, libraries, LAN, hostel accommodation etc. The campus is neat and clean and greenery is well maintained.
I done my mtech in biotechnology and the faculty of school of biotechnology in Gautam Buddha university is great. The knowledge of teachers is quite good. The teachers are available to help students during college hours. The practical work and laboratories are world class. All the facilities to perform experiments are available.
The placement is quite low. But if you are good at studies and academic performances you will definitely get one. The placement also depends on the course that you have opted . Some courses have very good placements while some have less.
The fees for my course is 1lac per year which according to me is worth it. The hostel and mess fees are additional which keeps changing.
The campus life is outstanding. The campus have many sightseeing spots like sarovar. The students spend their time and study there. You'll make good friends here and enjoy your campus life definitely.

Student Preparation for UPSC and GATE:
Many B.Tech students at Gautam Buddha University (GBU), Noida , prepare for competitive exams like UPSC Civil Services (CSE), Engineering Services (ESE), and GATE alongside their studies.
The university does not have dedicated coaching for UPSC CSE or ESE, but students rely on self-study, coaching institutes, and online platforms .
GATE preparation is more common among students from branches like ECE, EE, and ME , and some faculty members guide students for technical exams.
Library and Study Support:
GBU has a well-equipped library where students access study materials for UPSC, GATE, and other government exams.
Some student groups and societies organize discussions and peer-study groups for civil services aspirants.
Placement Scenario at GBU Noida:
Placement opportunities at GBU vary based on the branch and industry demand.
Companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, HCL, and Cognizant visit the campus for IT and engineering-related roles.
The average salary package ranges from 3 LPA to 6 LPA , depending on the branch and student performance.
Core branches (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical) have relatively lower placement percentages in comparison to CSE and IT , but students opt for government exam preparation.
Higher Studies and Research:
Some students prefer higher education options such as M.Tech through GATE or MBA through CAT/XAT .
A few students also explore research opportunities in IITs and NITs through GATE scores.
Conclusion:
While GBU Noida does not provide dedicated coaching for UPSC or GATE , students prepare for these exams independently.
Placement opportunities are available but highly dependent on skills, internships, and individual efforts.
Students interested in government jobs or public sector roles should actively participate in self-study groups, online coaching, and mock tests .
