• Admission to AICTE-approved Four-Year B.Tech programmes at HSNC University, Mumbai is through the HSNCU Technology Common Entrance Test (H-TCET), conducted online.
• Candidates must apply online through website and pay an exam fee of Rs 1,000 (non-refundable).
• After registration, the H-TCET online exam is assigned to candidates via email.
• Eligible programmes include Computer Engineering and Computer Science & Engineering (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning).

• Admission is through H-LAT-2, conducted online for the Two-Year LL.M. programme at HSNC University, Mumbai.
• Candidates must apply online through website and pay an exam fee of Rs 1,500 (non-refundable).
• Eligibility requires an LL.B. degree (3-year or 5-year) from a recognised university with at least 45% marks for General Category, 42% for SEBC/OBC, and 40% for SC/ST.

• There is no upper age limit for H-LAT-2.

A relaxation from 55% to 50% is allowed for reserved categories, differently-abled candidates, and those who obtained their Master’s degree before 19 September 1991, as per the Government of Maharashtra policies. M.Phil. students whose dissertations have been evaluated and whose viva voce is pending may also apply.

HSNC Mumbai Ph.D Courses and Eligibility Criteria

HSNC University Mumbai P.D Admission Process

• Candidates must hold a Master’s degree, professional degree, or equivalent qualification with at least 55% aggregate marks or equivalent grade.
• Admission to the PhD programme is conducted through a two-stage process consisting of the H-PET entrance examination and a personal interview.
• H-PET includes two papers: Research Methodology and Research Aptitude (50 marks) and Subject Specific (50 marks).
• The examination carries 100 marks, lasts two hours, and contains multiple-choice questions with no negative marking.
• Candidates must secure at least 50% aggregate marks to qualify, while reserved category candidates require 45%.
• Candidates qualified in UGC-NET, CSIR-NET, SLET, SET, GATE, GPAT, PET, or other recognised fellowships and examinations mentioned by the University are exempted from H-PET.
• Candidates with an M.Phil. degree or an existing PhD degree from a recognised University are also exempted from the entrance test.
• Qualified and exempted candidates must attend a personal interview conducted by the University.
• Applications must be submitted online along with the required documents and application fee.
• Candidates must carry original documents at the time of the personal interview.
• Final-year candidates may apply, but admission will remain subject to passing the qualifying examination.
