Every college has both sides, the good side and the bad side. Usually the good side covers up for the bad side but sometimes you wonder about the bad side as well. The worst part about being in IIM Ahmedabad is the amount of academically overloaded students that it causes a lot of competition. Being in a college full of such students also calls in for the ego for getting admission in such a prestigious college. Last but not the least, the faculty also isn't that great.

First of all, I would like to tell that the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIM Ahmedabad) is a business school located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. It was established in 1961, the institute offers master's degree programs in management and agri-business management, a fellowship program and a number of executive training programs.

Not really if you prepare for the CAT and the entrance exam of IIM, Ahmedabad you can easily make to it but the to score a good rank in IIM-A requires a lot of dedication and preparation because it is considered to be as the somehow difficult exam than the others. Indian institute of management, ahemdabad is a government college which offers six programmes. It provides all the facilities which makes student comfortable. The atmosphere of this college is clean , and well maintained. The campus has library which contains CD s, magazines, books on variety of topics. The campus has two hostels one for girls and other for boys. Both the hostels are well equipped with basic facilities like telivision, refrigerator , water coolers. There is also a sports ground for variety of sports like volley ball. The campus also have a gym in order to maintain healthy lifestyle.There are auditorium to conduct meetings. The entire campus has Wi-Fi facilities as well as hospital facilities to provide immediate help. The college life is excellent at IIM, ahmedabad.

Candidates with executive MBA qualifications are usually much more mature and balanced in their approach. They understand management principles and apply them better. They are also better prepared and ready to handle middleand senior-level responsibilities.

one expects to get a fat pay check after graduating from a business school like IIMA, the decision of taking up/not taking up an offer should not solely be based on the salary package.

When it comes to the PGPX program, people mostly end up getting into their Pre-MBA domains/industries but at better positions. Also, the expectations from such professionals is also more than that of an average joe. So, if you aspire for a generic 9–5 job where you want to shut your laptop at 5 dot, that cannot happen in high paying role(at least in India).

The PGP curriculum is the result of constant innovation and continuous review by the faculty with help from practitioners in industry, alumni and students. The programme offers four types of courses spread across two years viz. foundational, tools and techniques oriented, functional and perspective-building courses. It also provides opportunities for project courses and courses of independent study during the second year.

The compulsory/ core courses focus on rigorous grounding in the rudiments of every discipline in management and the development of a common foundation of business knowledge and management theory. The core courses consist of 480 sessions (Approx.) encompassing 24 credits (Approx.).
