However,assuming you are from General Category having an average Academic record you should Work hard for CAT and target securing above 99-100 and above to have fair chances for IIMs as well as Other Top Management Institutes.

The minimum sectional cut off that you need to score as per the previous years for iim ahemdabad is 60 percentile and the aggregate cut off is 70 percentile. It is a very neck to neck score. So, maybe you have cleared the cut off to become eligible to get a call but still it's very difficult.

Yes, assuming you are from General Category, with a great academic record in school, having a 7.5+ GPA from an Old IIT, having a CAT Percentile Score of 99.7+ you have fair chances in securing a Call from atleast 3 of the Top 6 IIMs, IIM ABCLKI.

Hello student admission in IIM Ahmedabad for 390 seats in MBA is through marks obtained in CAT entrance examination.

IIM Ahmedabad is one of the top Management colleges in India. Students having more than 99 percentile in CAT may be called for AWT and PI round depending upon their academic background and work experience.

Ideally you should have been eligible or atleast received a Call from 3 of the Top IIMs, BLACKI. Being from Non Engineering Background, and secondly after Securing 99.94 Percentile in CAT, its highly unusual. However, it does happen, and you may have lost points for your average Academic Record as well as Points due to No Work Experience.

However, Do keep hope, as All IIMs have yet not released their Call Lists. Secondly, their are many Excellent Management Institutes other than IIMs like Management Schools of Top IITs like VGSOM, SJSOM, DMS IIT Delhi as well as Top Management Institutes like FMS Delhi, MDI Gurgaon, IMT Ghaziabad, SPJIMR, NITIE and JBIMS Mumbai, and you must participate in the respective application processes.

Although you have an average academic record in 10/12, assuming you are from General Category I still believe you can get a call from either of IIM A B C , with a strong score in CAT (99.7+) , an excellent academic record in Graduation, followed by a great GD/PI and WAT.

See IIM Ahmedabad offers only Post graduate programs for which you have to first complete your Undergraduate course from any other institution and then you have to appear for CAT and on the basis of your CAT score and your academic performance you will be called for admission to IIM Ahmedabad.
