Dear candidate,

Even if you are graduating as a fresher from these premier institutes, their reputation is highly regarded throughout our nation. If a candidate is passed from either of these premium institutes of India, the candidates is rated highly in the industry because of the faculty of the college & the network the students make in their MBA program degree. It's always a big advantage over other colleges (non IIM)candidates if you are graduating from these institutes. Age is no bar for anyone to do her/his MBA from these colleges.

Thanks .

Dear Candidate,

As per the information provided by you, you need to score above 99 percentile in CAT for admission in either of IIMs - A/B/C. And your graduation aggregate should be anywhere in the range of above 8. If you fulfill this, it will be easier for you to get admission into either of the colleges. Then comes the interview too. Prepare well for your exam. Best wishes ahead..

Thanks.

Hello Anil,

Yes you can apply for CAT and get admission in IIM Ahmedabad. IIM Ahmedabad is the top Institute for MBA and it's cutoff is very high every year.
Since you are from bsc which is a non engineering background, extra points are given by the Institute for maintaining academic diversity. This is an advantage for you.

For more information on criteria for CAT and IIMs you can visit the following link:

Hope this is helpful.

Hello there. Hope you are doing good. I would like to tell you that IIM Ahmedabad does not offer integrated program of management. Among all the IIMs, only IIM Indore offers integrated program in BBA + MBA. IPMAT is the entrance exam conducted by IIM Indore for getting admission into its integrated BBA+MBA program.

I hope this solved your query. Good luck for your future.

Dear candidate, I know you might have doubts about how would the college react knowing your previous papers and their results but, you must know no that there is no influence of your 10th or 12th marksheets in front of the college interviewers.
The admission into IIM Ahmedabad is itself a great victory and let me inform you that there is nothing like the involvement of previous exams, even the students of Engineering undergraduates go for MBA programs in various colleges. So coming to the point, I would like to suggest you that forgetting about your previous marks, which are not much bad, you must focus on the CAT examination because you can get Ahmedabad only if you are under 99 percentile student and yes it's quite difficult to achieve but if you try to work on the the portion of examination then obviously in one year or two you can crack CAT.

Also after cracking the CAT examination it's the interview part which makes sure that you will get admission in IIM Ahmedabad because the interview part is quite tough you need to be rebuilt your personality your speaking skills which are very much simpler important for any candidate who is appearing for the cat interview examination. I hope you understand what my concern is about. All the best!!!

Hii Biton,

Yes, there is a possibility for you as you belong to the SC category. But still there are  alot of factors taken into consideration while accessing your profile for giving a call for interviews bu top Business schools of India. You have a good chance provided you work on your communication skills and other skills. Also try doing internships and building your profile as these things will affect and may decide if you will be getting a call or not.

Hope it helps,

Thanks.
