As you mention your rank ....which is is good enough to get good colleges.. but you cannot get colleges like a you A.U or JNTU with your rank for these colleges you have to rank under 50 .

There are some colleges where can you get admission to your rank ...your rank   deccen enough to get good colleges with your rank so there are some colleges where you can apply:

You need to score below 5 k in order to get a seat in JNTUK. if you want to get into good streams like cse, ece... You need to secure a rank below 1 k(for open category)

No, You cannot apply like that. If you are studying in JNTU that doesn’t mean you can attend any of the JNTU branch for placements. If it is a pool drive, If the university allows outside students to participate in the placement then you can attend for that particular placement. Else you cannot as however you want. However the placements at JNTU Karimnagar are also best. The top companies that visit this university Karimnagar are: Infotech, SAP, TCS, Genpact, cyient, IBM, etc. for more details about this university you can check here:

APEAMCET is the entrance exam conducted by ap state board to get admission in engineering colleges

With your rank you may get branches like met, che if you belongs to open category, otherwise you may get better streams

There is no management quota in JNTU. One can enter into through apeamcet
