As you mention your rank ....which is is good enough to get good colleges.. but you cannot get colleges like a you A.U or JNTU with your rank for these colleges you have to rank under 50 .

yes definetly you are eligible to rake admission in JNTUA  college of engineering in electronic and communication field 2019-20. as per there are good placements for CSE and ECE branches. The chemical engineering branch also has placements but a little less than CSE and ECE. The remaining branches have good placements. Most of the placements provided are in the software field. Tech Mahindra, TCS, HCL, etc., are the companies that visited the campus for placements.

Since the courses you have mentioned are different, it really comes down to your interests. If you have an interest in mechanics and have good command in physics, then you can go for mechanical engineering. If you want to become a software engineer and have a thing for coding, then computer Science Engineering will be a good option. Both of these universities are decent in terms of infrastructure and faculty, but the course is your decision. Go through the curriculum of both the courses and find out what is your interest. Because, in the end, your course will matter more than your college.

The branches you can get into is CHEMICAL.according to last year cutoff BC-D cutoff for chemical is 23k.

But, you can get any branch in vijayanagaram JNTU.

    I'm very sorry to say that, you have the lower chances of getting admission in Jawaharlal Nehru technological university, Kakinada. Information technology in here is a tough job based on your rank and you also doesn't have any reservation. This is totally based on previous years statistics and it may change everyyear. You can have some better options for this rank such as Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati, etc.., Don't worry and attend the counseling sessions so that you can choose between the top colleges.

Be patient, you'll definitely get a good college for your rank !

First of all congratulations for that pretty good rank,well getting seat or not it's cmpletely based on your caste.But, according to last year cutoff though if you belong to OC you will definetly get CSE seat because last year cut off was 4731 also you can get IT seat.
