As per the previous years, cutoff trends for admission into Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada, the closing ranks for the domain of Electronics and Communications Engineering for respective categories are:

• BC-A: 3030 closing rank.
• BC-B: 1982 closing rank.
• BC-C: 2101 closing rank.

The college guess preference to the gate qualified candidates and then the leftovers are filled by the non gate candidates so chances are bleak.

However the first preference is given to the gate qualified candidates so if less gate candidates apply there then you might get the college.

On analysing the previous year's cutoff ranks for bca courses in different colleges through ap-icet is as follows :-

1.for JNTUK and SVU- from 1 to 100 ranks

2.for AU and ANU - from 101 to 500 ranks

As these are top ranked and grade'A' and grade'B' colleges thatswhy their cutoff ranks are high as well.

So, this year as well the cutoff will be around this only.

Around 30% of the students got placed from our branch. The highest salary package offered was 5.50 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 2.40 LPA. Companies like MAQ and Tech Mahindra have visited our college for placement drives. We have a training and placement department at our college. It makes a huge difference in our performance.

The placement of jntu vijanagaram is very bad.very few companies visited this college for placement.actually the college is very small so the college invite only few companies.the average package for this college is 2-3 lakh and highest package is 4.5 lakh.

Also the placement in jntu kakinanda is not good .here also very few companies come and that of it sector.very few core companies vusited this college.the highest package goes till 4.5 lakh.
