The closing rank (GATE) for structural engineering in JNTUK for BC-B boys was 4217 and BC-B girls was 7824 in the last year. So you can understand that a rank of 14330 will not come into consideration. Thus, you might not be able to get structural engineering in JNTUK with this rank.

You can go for other alternatives or try again in the next year.

Hello Nagasubbaiah, the maximum cut of to get BCA seat in universities like AU, JNTU-K, SVU etc are less than 200 rank and it may vary every year because of their choosing options in counselling. SO generally to get seat in Universities and top top private inistitutions like KLU, Vignan etc are rank must be below 500.

Students of petroleum engineering get  placements only in the software companies. department students don't get any placements on the core side. Recently some seniors got jobs in the Coramandal and NFCL, but who were only 2 in number. We usually get core jobs by getting a good rank in the GATE examination. About, 5-years ago , some students got placed in the core jobs as in GAIL, ONGC, etc. The companies which came for the recruitment accounted for at least 60% of the placements. The placements are pretty good. Most of the students will be placed definitely in software organisations like Infosys, TCS, Accenture and Capgemini. Even core companies recruit talented students as well. Even the placement cell helps a lot in placing the students in good jobs.So , you can expect somewhat better scenario in the upcoming future.

See furst of all i guess that you have got  a good rank to get in jawaharlal nehru technological university both in hyederabad, kakinada. See both college is good in their own fields. If you see the infrstructure of hyederabad is better, same with the placement, hyederabad is good. So you can go for hyederabad. 

Coming to the hostel fee .If you are admitted in the hostel, then you need to pay a caution money around 15k, and 2k to 3k monthly for mess.
