KIET Ghaziabad has a good infrastructure with clean classrooms and seminar halls. The campus has Wi-Fi and a good library with management books and journals. Vegetarian food is provided in the mess, with the food quality being average to good, and hygiene is satisfactory. Sports facilities and medical facilities are provided on campus, catering to overall student well-being.
The AKTU syllabus for MBA is moderately revised but at times fails to catch up with the latest market trends. The college arranges guest lectures and industrial visits, but students must be proactive to gain maximum benefit. Semester exams are moderately challenging, and consistent study helps students secure good grades.
The best package on campus is normally between 10 LPA and 12 LPA, being provided by IBM, Deloitte, and EY. Off-campus placements or PPOs may command better packages of up to 28-30 LPA, primarily in marketing and finance roles. The lowest offer typically ranges from 3 LPA to 4 LPA, and companies recruiting include Genpact, Tech Mahindra, and Infosys.
The KIET infrastructure is average and working, although it can be bettered. Most students reside in hostels but the hostel facilities are average. Rooms and basic facilities could be kept in better condition. The canteen of the college is fine. On the positive front, the college encourages sports and provides facilities for different games and recreational activities.
From an academic standpoint, the course is challenging, and semester exams are highly demanding. You actually need to study continuously to perform well. Personally, I've been able to maintain an SGPA of 8.5, which indicates the effort required to remain at par with the academic pace.
I am in the first year of the KIET Ghaziabad MBA program (batch 2024–26). There are a huge number of students in the MBA course, so placement competition is very high. Because of this, placement chances become limited unless an individual becomes outstanding with good skills. Some of the best recruiters for our course are Infosys, ICICI Bank, and Future Group.
Every department has separate space, and the MBA block is equipped with everything. Wi-Fi, digital classrooms, computer centers, and a fully stocked library are provided to cater to academic requirements. Hostel facilities are quite good, and the food is satisfactory compared to normal hostels.
The faculty here is experienced, well-qualified, and supportive. Most professors have both academic and industry exposure, which helps in understanding practical applications of management concepts. The teaching quality is strong, and the curriculum is relevant to current industry needs.
KIET Ghaziabad has had positive placement records in the recent past, particularly from the MBA school. A majority of the students from this program are placed at the last placement season. The maximum package recently was about 17 LPA, and the minimum was around 3.5 LPA. The average was around 4 LPA.
The campus is neat and clean, and there are projectors and minimum amenities in the classrooms. But the hostel facility is not that great. There are plenty of students living in hostels, but the facilities are not really good. The canteen is not that great; the food is good but monotonous. The mess food, in particular, is not that great in variety and quality.
There are certain teachers who are highly knowledgeable and emphasize practical learning, which is very useful. But all the teachers are not equally brilliant as far as subject knowledge is concerned. But the academic atmosphere is encouraging, and certain professors even encourage us to study hard for our targets.
I am pursuing an MBA at KIET Ghaziabad,.The student population for the MBA course is pretty big, and at some point, that limits individual placement opportunities. The highest package offered was nearly 18 LPA, and the average is between 4 to 5 LPA. BYJU'S, HDFC Bank, ICICI Prudential, Decathlon, and Naukri.com have recruited on campus. A few students also received offers through off-campus drives. Internships are provided to around 30–40% of the batch, predominantly in marketing, HR, and operations roles.
The facilities are good and conducive for learning and growth. The classrooms have projectors and adequate seating. Wi-Fi is available in the college throughout the campus, and the library has appropriate books on academia and industry-related topics. There are separate blocks for individual departments to make movement more convenient.
A few of the faculty members have extensive experience in the industry, making their presence worthwhile. The semester-end examinations are fairly challenging and need diligent studying. The course curriculum is appropriate, though the students must pay attention to other certifications or skill enhancement to enhance the scope of employment.
Approximately 80–85% of students from the latest batch were placed. The maximum pay offered was approximately 9 LPA, while the average package varied between 3.5 to 5 LPA. A large majority of professors possess academic as well as industry experience, which brings down-to-earth knowledge to the classroom. They make an effort to get the students to do case studies, group work, and live projects, which is important in developing practical skills.
Placements of the MBA program at KIET Ghaziabad are among the strongest points of the college. The majority of our batch students got placed during the campus placement session. Top companies from various industries such as finance, marketing, consulting, and HR come to visit the campus. Top recruiters include HDFC Bank, Extramarks, Berger Paints, Tech Mahindra, and Tommy Hilfiger. The maximum package reached up to 10 LPA, and the average stuck between 4.5 to 5 LPA.
