Look every school colleges are not open till now. Some of open for few days but it's remain closed again. So it's still close the NIT Agartala. When it's open again government will notify everyone don't worry. It's totally depends on covid situation. I hope everything will be normal soon.

As of the latest updates regarding re-opening of schools and colleges in Tripura, Tripura Government did announce that after the resumption of classes 9th to 12th classes 5th to 8th will also be started in physical form from January 4th 2021 with all safety protocols but no decision has been taken regarding the classes of Higher Educational Institution. As of now the classes in NIT Agartala are conducted through online medium and the session for first semester has been started from December 4th 2020.

It is known that all classes were suspended in physical mode since mid March '20 due to the nationwide lockdown because of global pandemic named COVID-19. But now it is controlling and so many health experts are involved in treatment of this so now the circumstances are becoming favorable and the physical classes for NIT Agartala and other Higher Educational Institutions might get started soon.

Dear student,

In nit agartala, you have to give Rs. 78900 at the time of admission, and if paid the seat acceptance as well as partial admission fees in josaa or csab then you have to the rest of the remaining amount at the time of admission.

The tuition fess of nit agartala is - Rs. 62500
The total fees of 2nd semester is Rs. 71200. After that the total fees for 3rd semester and 5th semester is Rs. 68400.
The total fees for 4th and 6th semester is Rs. 67200.
And in the final year, i.e, in 7th semester the total fees is Rs. 69400 and for 8th semester it is Rs. 69650.

Now, the hostel fees for nit agartala is as follows :-

Hostel admission fees - Rs. 500
Hostel caution money ( refundable ) - Rs. 5000
Hostel rent ( per semester ) - Rs. 2500
Mess fees ( per semester ) - Rs. 17500.

So, every semester you have to give a total fees of Rs. 25500 as hostel + mess charges.

No, there is no need of print out of your choices filled for JOSAA or CSAB Counselling, at reporting center. instead you have to take other document for verification such as seat allotment letter, marksheets of class 10th and 12th, caste certificate(if applicable), score card of JEE-Main and some others

There are options to change your family income data in nit's. Yearly a form is circulated that admits the people who have low family income and wish to apply for tuition fee waiver. But for now you need to contact the administration and give them a proof of your annual family income that it is less than 5 lakhs per annum. There are chances that they might consider your request.

I believe CSE at SLIET Sangrur will be a better choice than Lower branches at newer North East NITs  where placements are almost a permanent issue. SLIET has good infrastructure, faculty and research facilities and is one of the better technical institutes in Punjab next to IIT Ropar, NIT Jalandhar and PEC Chandigarh.

Computer Science itself has a lot of Job and Career Prospects, be it in Public or Private Sector. The institute also has a reputation of many students preparing for GATE and moving on to pursue Masters from Higher Technical Institutes in India like Top IITs and IISc Bangalore.

Incase you do not have options from other better amd older NITs, I believe NIT Agartala is a good institute as far as CSE is concerned. The institute has good infrastructure, faculty and research facilities. You will definitely enjoy your campus life in midst of a beautiful city Agartala in Tripura enthrawled by natural beauty and hills.

As far as CSE is concerned, more or less 80% of the batch gets placed in reputed companies like Works Japan, Tech Mahindra, Capgemini, TCS, L&T Infotech, Samsung, Oracle and so on. Besides this many students from NIT Agartala move to higher technical institutes in India like Top IITs and IISc Bangalore for Masters or Doctoral Degree.

I will suggest to go for gfti or iiits because tag will useful in just for at starting  but not useful for further but if u do u r BE of any core branches like
ECE
EEE
MEC or
Civil u have many more opportunities like to become IES or to get job in  better private companies according to your branch or software engineer or u can get state government jobs or isro ,drdo scientist if go to
Nit agartala u will definitely miss all these opportunities  ok better luck
