Dear aspirant,
I would request you to kindly share in the comment box the name of the college for which you need the placements details so that I would be able to guide you in a more organized and accurate manner.
In general the placements of cse branch is good and the average package goes highest in any college among all the branches.
Hello,
First of all, you have to decide that you want to go for the institute or you want to go for the stream. If you want to study in IIT then you should go for CSE in that case your preference should be Bhubaneswar>Kottawayam>Sri city
If you want to go for stream then your preference should be ECE at NIT PATNA.
Hope for the best.
Thank you.
IIIT Kottayam cse and IIITDM Jabalpur ece are both good colleges in terms of placement, infrastructure and academics. But IIITDM Jabalpur ECE has better placements compared to other. But both are different branches. if you want to study cse, choose IIIT Kottayam. As its the best IIIT college in Kerala.
Hi.
Yes you can get into CSE Branch at IIIT-DM Jabalpur with EWS Category Rank as the closing rank for the same, in 2020, was 2847 under Gender Neutral Category and All India seats.
In case you wish to explore more colleges, you can use our College Predictor tool for JEE Mains to help you in finding college and branch of your choice based on your merits in the exam.
Good Luck
Hello Aspirant,
As we go through the latest cut-offs of JEE-Main 2020 of JOSAA 6th round then it shows that :-
Closing OBC rank for NIT Tiruchirappalli was :-
Closing OBC rank for IIITDM Kancheepuram was :-
So you have no any chances to get any of NIT Tiruchirappalli or IIITDM Kancheepuram with ECE branch even if you have Home state and female quota. Also note that there is no Home state quota for IIITs.
You can check out the latest cut-offs from the link given below :-

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of latest cut-offs available on official website of JOSAA or CSAB and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

Hello Aspirant,
As we go through the latest cut-off of 2020 then it shows that the closing CRL rank was 43973 for Smart Manufacturing branch in Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design & Manufacturing, Kancheepuram under All India quota for General category.
Now to secure such rank you should have your JEE-Main score at least 110+ marks out of 300 and percentile against this should be around 96.7+.

Dear aspirant,
As you have secured 97.52 percentile in JEE mains and taking into consideration you are from general category so let me tell you that your predicted rank would be around 25k as per my knowledge.
The IIITs mentioned by you are almost one and the same if you go by the cut offs. In all these iiits the cut off for cse branch is around 21k. So, I would recommend you to go with any of these iiits with ece branch atleast because it is of no use if you would a non core branch in newer iiits like bhagalpur, bhopal.
I hope this answer helped you out!!

Hello Aspirant,
Very first thing that on 144 marks percentile should be above 90 so you might have wrongly calculated your marks but considering your percentile you have very low chances for any government college in MP instead of government colleges you should go for private colleges.
If we go through the analysis of marks Vs Percentile Vs rank for JEE-Main 2020 then according to the percentile mentioned by you in the question your CRL rank is expected to be in the range of 470000-529000 , you can check out marks Vs ranks Vs Percentile from the link given below :-

Or
You can also use JEE-Main Rank Predictor to predict your rank :-

As we go through the latest cut-offs of JEE-Main 2020 of JOSAA 6th round then it shows that :-
Closing SC rank for IIITDM Jabalpur was :-
And your SC rank is expected to be around 27,000
So you have quite low chances to get even IIITDM Jabalpur.
But yes if you improve your percentile in upcoming session of JEE-Main like around 90+ then you might have a shot at IIITDM Jabalpur.

Hi
With 96.7 percentile
Your rank will be around 33759 - 37950 as per our rank predictor at https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-rank-predictor
It is difficult to make prediction but when we go through previous year trend then
You hold a low chance for ECE in IIIT jabalpur
For example,
In 6th round of josaa counselling 2020, closing rank for gender neutral for general category in IIIT Jabalpur for ECE was 24558
But yes,
In IIIT with your rank you have chances in
Smart Manufacturing (4 Years, Bachelor of Technology)
Mechanical engineering
You can check the same at
https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx
