Hi,  sastra is deemed university  with lot of good courses   it is a good clg   but it has little bit high fees structure  but there is fees reimbursement for obc students  but medium placements  only Also  the college is in thanjavur all the best for your bright career.

SASTRA is a deemed to be university .The admissions here are based strictly on merit.

There are 2 streams how one can get admission into the college .The 1 stream  is based on marks scored in JEE Main and +2 .(70% seats)

Whereas 2 stream is purely based

There is no cutoff in sastra . It solely depends on your rank in sastra's merit list which will be uploaded after a while. For cse the rank must be not more than 500. Only then, u will have a chance.

Admission to SASTRA is mainly based on the score of the the marks that you have secured in JEE mains as, 70 percentage of seats in SASTRA is filled based on jee mains scored and remaining 30 percentage of seats are to be filled based on the score

Basith, There’s nothing like minimum mark in JEE for admission in SASTRA. The weightage for JEE Main scores and +2 marks will be 25% & 75% respectively. The aggregate JEE Main score and normalized +2 aggregate will be taken together as per the weightage and applicants will be ranked based

As u scored very well in your examinations u may get Sastra university but CS branch may be at risk.. To be very frank as u belong to general category there is certain less chance.. But no worries.... keep trying
