Hi Pochareddy,

I am very sorry to say that you have a low chance to get a good seat in Sastra University. yet don't lose hope and try by both the streams.

The admission is based on two ways:
Stream 1: JEE main marks + board exam marks (70% seats)
Stream 2: only board exam marks (30% seats)
There is no specific cut off to get a seat in SASTRA University. It depends on the student who scores the highest marks. If you have appeared for JEE Mains then apply under stream 1. If your board exam marks is 90-95% and JEE main marks is between 50-120 then you can get admission under stream 1.
For stream 2, your board exam marks should be at least above 85-90% to get a seat and if it is more than 95% you can get a good course.

Hope it was useful to you and your query was resolved.

Feel free to contact us for any queries.

All the best :)

Hi Manda,

I am very sorry to say that you have a low chance to get CSE branch in Sastra University due to your board GPA. Still, you should not lose your hope and try by stream 1.

Ya you can get admission in shastra University easily but you can not get your dream branch like CSE and Me for more details please use our app for college prediction hope you understand please upvote it I will give you a suggestion to get admission in best state government college of India if you given the paper of JEE mains and secured rank upto 5lakh and 12th percentage is good then you can take admission in any govt college by state counselling

It's very difficult to get a CSE in SASTRA. But you can try some rare courses like EIE , mech, etc.

It is not based on TN cut off. It is respected with the total mark.

Hello. Sastra University has a criteria that you should have minimum of 60% in boards and at least 25% of Jee mains to get admission in sastra college. I think you have that much of marks. So don't worry you will get admission into this college. All the best for your future.

Dear,

There are two criterias by which SASTRA follow for admissions and those are as follows:-

1. 70% of the seats are reserved under the first criteria.Admissions are given on taking weightage of 25% JEE mains marks and 75% of the 12th boards.

2.Remaining 30% are reserved under the second criteria. Admissions are totally based upon the boards marks. So for this you should have a very good percentage in 12th boards which should be around 95 or 95+ to secure a seat.

Hi yashwanth,
There is no such criteria of jee score to get admission into sastra university .Sastra university has a seperate procedure through stream 1 and stream 2 .

Stream 1
70 percentage of seats are filled through stream 1 based on 12th percentage (75%of 12th after normalisation )+ (jee mains 25 %)

So its impossible to predict that with this score you will get into sastra university .

Stream 2
The rest admission is taken through stream 2 where one's 12 percentage only matter .there is very less chance for percentage below 95 .

Hope it helps !!!

College Infrastructure

My experience with this college is a mixed one ..The infrastructure of the university is good and is the most remarkable for the computing programs The research facilities here are top notch with fully equipped Labs and great professors (not all but a few ones are very experienced and influential in their field..other buildings are average and there is a wifi facility available 24/7 for laptops..no cycle is available ..The food is good..but everything has its bad days too..the form is quite clean
