Hi MyThirayan,

I am very sorry to say that you may not be able to get a seat in Sastra University.

The admission is based on two ways:
Stream 1: JEE main marks + board exam marks (70% seats)
Stream 2: only board exam marks (30% seats)
There is no specific cut off to get a seat in SASTRA University. It depends on the student who scores the highest marks. If you have appeared for JEE Mains then apply under stream 1. If your board exam marks is 90-95% and JEE main marks is between 50-120 then you can get admission under stream 1.
For stream 2, your board exam marks should be at least above 85-90% to get a seat and if it is more than 95% you can get a good course.

Hope it was useful to you and your query was resolved.

Feel free to contact us for any queries.

All the best :)

Hello!
It sounds very difficult for you to get into Sastra university on basis of the 31 percentage of marks, and many colleges don't accoey board makrs below 75%. I would advis you to look out for other colleges, and maybe into more private ones.

Goo luck for future endeavours!

Hello Aspirant,

In SASTRA for B.Tech admission both your 12th percentage or CGPA and JEE Main percentile will be considered. The weightage given to JEE main percentile is 25% and the remaining 75% will be given to your 12th board marks. The SASTRA rank will be calculated and based on these parameters and based on this you will be called for counselling on merit basis.

For more details regarding the application form and the admission process do refer the below provided link.

College Infrastructure

My experience with this college is a mixed one ..The infrastructure of the university is good and is the most remarkable for the computing programs The research facilities here are top notch with fully equipped Labs and great professors (not all but a few ones are very experienced and influential in their field..other buildings are average and there is a wifi facility available 24/7 for laptops..no cycle is available ..The food is good..but everything has its bad days too..the form is quite clean

it is good feel to write review for helping juniors
