Hello!
"Yes" you will get but can't predict the branch.
Sastra Deemed University will offer admission in 2019 under the following two streams:
Through stream 1:
Admissions to 70% of the seats will be made through stream 1 on the basis of JEE Main scores and normalized scores of the 10+2 or equivalent exam.
The 25% weightage will be given to JEE Main scores and the remaining 75% will be given to marks scored in 10+2 or equivalent examination.
The combined scores will be used to prepare the rank list and candidates will be invited for admission on the basis of the rank list.
Through stream 2:
The remaining 30% of the seats will be filled through stream 2
Only 10+2 (or equivalent) normalized scores will be considered while preparing the rank list of stream 2.
Candidates can apply through both the streams. In case, a candidate has not appeared for JEE Main 2019 exam and has applied for stream 1, the weighted score for the 25% will be considered 0 but the qualifying exam aggregate scores will be given 75% weightage to arrive at the combined score. However, in case of stream 2, the qualifying exam scores will be given 100% weightage.

Shanmugha Arts, Science, Technology & Research Academy, known as SASTRA University, is a private university in the town of Thirumalaisamudram, Thanjavur district, Tamil Nadu, India. It was established in 1984 in the form of Shanmugha College of Engineering which is now renamed, Shanmugha Arts, Science, Technology & Research Academy [SASTRA].

70 percent seats of every branch are filled through stream 1, based on the 12th percentage ( 75 percent after normalization) + JEE mains score ( 25 percent ).
According to previous year cutoff, You have to score at least 40 marks in JEE Mains to get admitted in SASTRA with CSE branch.
All the best!
Hey Varsha,

Good luck!
Thank you,

Hello student, Greetings from Careers360.com!
With a percentile of 20 in the JEE Main examination, it becomes difficult to secure a seat in the SASTRA university. However you can preddict the colleges which youu are likely to get using the link given below:
https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor
Good luck!
Sasta University doesn't give admissions on the basis if jee main score only. Your 12th marks will also come into consideration. Based on your jee main score and board marks you'll get a Sastra AIR and you'll be given admission based on that only. Hence it is difficult ti specify particular jee main cutoff of Sastra University.
Thank you.
Hope it helps
I really like this colleges based on placement based on my optionion you can join our college. Little bit strict but that’s Okk. In our college infrastructure is better I’m currently doing my Bsc degree in sastra university
My experience with this college is a mixed one ..The infrastructure of the university is good and is the most remarkable for the computing programs The research facilities here are top notch with fully equipped Labs and great professors (not all but a few ones are very experienced and influential in their field..other buildings are average and there is a wifi facility available 24/7 for laptops..no cycle is available ..The food is good..but everything has its bad days too..the form is quite clean
laboratories for bio tech and other related departments are very good and high tech here. Hostels are non ac full vegetarian, managable. wifi is 24/7 available. the environment is good for studying here.
