MA Film Studies - Batch of 2026-01-01
Academics
The professors here are extremely good. They guide each of us equally and help everyone individually. They are all very helpful and each of them interacts with us like friends. Additionally, the studies are taught exceptionally well. Many scholars have emerged from here who are now working in various places across the industry.
College Infra
The infrastructure at our college is quite good. We have a dedicated, rather large library for seated study. Besides this, the Film Studies department has its own lab where I can carry out my practical sessions, with proper equipment provided to facilitate our practice. Moreover, we have our own studio, where we carry out all manner of shooting-related tasks.
Campus Life
Our campus life is just awesome. We work hard and excel, we study hard and excel, we have a blast and excel, and the professors also chill with us in their free time. In a word, we just have an absolute blast.
Placements
Actually, these are normally formal government master's courses. So here, there is no specific placement system. Many of us do internships outside alongside our studies. Also, there are cases where, if students learn the work well and study properly, the professors themselves recommend their names to various places in the industry.
Value For Money
Definitely, perhaps even more than that, good facilities can be obtained at a much lower cost.

Academics
1)I am studying in MBA and teaching quality are good but at the level of this course we need some good professors.
2)Study totally depend on me but quality teaching also need,I think my study makes me job-ready.
College Infra
1)My college have good infrastructure,all facilities are good and many equipments are available and some are not.
2) Classroom, Laboratories and hostel are good but I think sports centre are need to improve and Wifi facility are also need to improve.
3) Living spaces are clean.
Campus Life
1)My college life is giving many good memories in my life,Many activities students engaged like cultural, sports social etc.
2) Students, teachers and support staffs are co-operative, location ar good and safe also.
Placements
1)If we talk about placement in MBA ,I don't provide any information about placement because my batch is a 2nd MBA batch of my University.
2)I don't know about placement related news but I heard some of my senior get above 6 Lakhs annual package.
Value For Money
1)My course cost 42500 per year
2)I think my money's are worth enough because In this MBA is a good choice for students for getting suitable jobs.

West Bengal State University, Kolkata college infrastructure of this college is good and the facilities related to lab and library, sports equipment are maintained very well and each classrooms are maintained hygienically for students.
College Infra
West Bengal State University, Kolkata very good in our college and campus is air conditioned. Food is comparatively good. Sports ground is available and having tennis court, throw ball court is there and competitions are conducted every year.
Campus Life
Campus life is really good this university
Placements
Many of us can get placement of almost 2 lac per annum which is not good ,we are not suppose that this much amount anyone deserve after graduating from this college. Also there is no guarantee for 80% placement . But West Bengal State University Kolkata is good for Msc .
