36 MonthsGeneral Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) is a three-year full-time diploma program offered by The West Bengal University of Health Sciences, Kolkata.
Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum educational qualification:
- Must pass ‘10+2’ examination from any recognized Board (1) with at least 40% marks in aggregate.
- Must pass (2) in English with at least 40% marks in ‘10+2’ examination.
- Candidates passing (10+2) in Vocational Stream must be from any one of the following three disciplines.
a. Health Care Science.
b. Agriculture
c. Home Science - Valid Rank of GNM Entrance Examination
- All candidates must be medically fit for the course and produce a Medical Fitness Certificate at the time of admission as per prescribed Format given.
- Min & Maximum age: The applicant’s age must be at least 17 (seventeen) years as on 31 st Dec of Admission Year.
Max 35 years as on 31 st Dec of Admission Year. - Residence: Must be a permanent resident of West Bengal uninterruptedly for at least last five years 31 st Dec prior to Admission Year.
- Language: Must be able to read, write and express in Bengali and/or Nepali
