BSc Nursing	Online Admission Test (OAT) conducted by the authority	Candidates must have passed class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as compulsory subjects. Candidates must have passed the qualifying examination in the first attempt with at least 50% marks each in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English subjects. Candidates should not be less than 17 years and not more than 25 years on December 31 of the year of admission. Candidates should be medically fit.
MSc Nursing	Written Admission Test (WAT) conducted by the authority	Candidates must have completed their BSc Nursing or Post Basic BSc Nursing programs recognized by the Indian Nursing Council in their first attempt , obtaining a minimum aggregate score of 55%. Candidates must have a minimum of one year of work experience either following their completion of Basic BSc Nursing or prior to and following their completion of Post Basic BSc Nursing before they can enrol in the course. Candidates must be medically fit. Candidates who have completed the Post Basic BSc Nursing programs from IGNOU centres that lack recognition from the Indian Nursing Council or from any other university through distance education cannot apply.

Application submission: Interested candidates must fill out the application form by filling all the required details. They should submit all necessary documents including academic transcripts, identity proof, passport size photograph along with the application fee.
Entrance Examination: AIN, Guwahati conducts an entrance examination as a part of the admission process. For BSc Nursing courses, candidates need to appear for online Admission Test (OAT) and for MSc Nursing courses, candidates need to appear for Written Admission Test (WAT). Candidates need to score a minimum mark to qualify the exam. The selection is based on a merit list published by the authority.
Counselling: Qualified candidates will be invited for a counselling session as part of the selection process.
