Master of Science (M.Sc) in Psychiatric Nursing is a two-year full-time program that is the postgraduate level in the nursing course offered by The West Bengal University of Health Sciences, Kolkata, and approved by the Indian Nursing Council (INC).


Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates shall be admitted for the degree of Master of Science in Nursing after fulfilling the following requirements.
  • The candidate must pass 4 years of B.Sc. Nursing/B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing OR Post Basic B.sc. Nursing/ Post Basic B.sc.(Hons) Or 3 years B.Sc. Degree- Nursing is done through distance education and must pass from an institution recognized by INC and affiliated with any recognized University. Candidates must have a minimum One-year working experience. The candidates seeking admission for M.Sc Nursing must secure at least 55% marks in aggregate in the last qualifying examination and should be medically fit.

Admission Details

The candidate has to appear in the JENPAS (PG) examination. Selection and admission will be based on JENPAS (PG) rank through online counseling.
