Cauvery College for Women, Annamalai Nagar offers admissions to undergraduate programmes based on the merit of the qualifying exam and interview conducted by the institute. The college also offers admissions to postgraduate and Ph.D programmes based on the performance of students in the written test and interview conducted by the authorities of the institute. Detailed description about the admission procedure is mentioned below.

Undergraduate Programmes:-

• Candidates have to fill out the application form and provide all the mandatory information. 
• Candidates will have to submit the application form with all the required documents.
• Candidates will be selected on the basis of their merit.  
• Selected candidates will have to appear for the interview, as to complete the admission process. 

 Postgraduate Programmes-

• Candidates have to fill out the application form and provide all the mandatory information. 
• Candidates will have to submit the application form with all the required documents.
• Candidates will be selected on the basis of their balanced combination of merit. 
• Selected candidates will be called for the entrance test and interview conducted by Bharathidasan University.

For PhD Programmes:-

• Candidates will have to download the application form from Bharathidasan University and submit it along with a brief research proposal of a page of approximately 500 words and other required documents.
• The Departmental Research Committee (DRC) will forward the applications further and will inform the candidates about their provisional admission and registration. 
• The selection process will be based on a written test. The selection will be done by the University Research Committee (URC).
  • Candidates will be exempted from the written test if-
  • They have qualified UGC-CSIR, UGC-NET/SET/ICAR/M.Phil. examinations.
  • They are in the sponsored research projects of research Supervisors and FIP candidates
  • They have fellowship in MHRD/RGNF/CSIR/DST/ICSSR etc.
• The eligible candidates should approach the research supervisors concerned in the subject and forward the PhD admission application through them.
