Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering is a four-year full-time undergraduate program offered by the Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University, Bhilai.

Eligibility Criteria

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.

Admission Details

The admission to BE courses will be made through counseling conducted by Directorate of Technical Education, Govt. of C.G. on the basis of CGPET or JEE Mains scores. The branch wise intake are reserved for State Quota, andAll India Quota. The percentages of various quotas are decided by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE),State Government. For admission under State Quota, a candidate is expected to qualify in PET conducted by Professional Examination Board, Chhattisgarh (CGVYAPAM).
