CMRIT's infrastructure looks good from the outside, but the experience is mixed once you actually start using it. As an AIML student, the labs have the basic requirements, but many PCs run slow, and getting technical issues fixed takes time. Classrooms are decent but get hot and congested, and the campus overall feels smaller and more packed than you expect. The library is one of the better maintained spaces, and you will actually feel like studying there. Overall, the infra works, but it doesn't really match the hype.

Academics in AIML at CMRIT are generally strong, though a bit inconsistent. Many faculty explain ML, python, and AI concepts clearly and provide practical insights, but some classes are theory focused which becomes very tiring and boring after a point. The curriculum is fairly up to date with industry trends, yet to truly excel, self practice and extra projects are essential.

Placements for AIML and CS students at CMRIT are decent but can be a bit unpredictable. A fair number of companies visit, including some core and product based tech firms but many roles aren't directly AI/ML focused. Salary packages vary widely and competition is high within the batch. Training sessions and mock interviews help, but the process feels rushed and poorly coordinated. Overall, if you are proactive and prepare well you can secure a decent placement but it's not entirely smooth.

Fees are on higher side for the infrastructure and facilities provided. Labs and classrooms work, but slow systems, maintenance delays, and limited modern amenities make it feel just average.

Campus life is lively with fests, workshops, and club activities. Interactions with peers is easy, and there is always something happening, through some areas feel cramped. Overall it is enjoyable.

CMRIT has a decent campus with all the necessary facilities. Class rooms are neat, spacious with digital boards and projectors in every classroom. Good lab facilities, equipments for performing the experiments

The faculty are helpful, supportive and kind towards the students. Every teacher explains each and every concept clearly. They explain every concept with real world examples. Many students have secured VTU ranks

Many companies starts visiting the campus at 7th sem itself. There are many IT companies who are happy with the performance of the students and visit every year to hire CMRIT students. Placement cell is very good in the college

The college offers decent value for money if your goal is to master your subjects and be placed in a good company for a decent package

Campus life is enjoyable with many technical clubs, non technical clubs, center of excellence, workshops fests etc...

I've been studying at CMRIT, Bangalore for the past two months, and my experience so far has been really good. The college has good infrastructure, the classrooms are well-equipped and the labs have modern computers. The campus is clean and green, provides opportunities like hackathons and other events to enhance our abilities. Overall, CMRIT offers a great atmosphere for academic growth.

CMRIT provides well-structured courses focusing on both theoretical and practical knowledge. The faculty member are friendly, approachable and knowledgeable, guiding students towards excellence. The hands-on sessions help us apply theoretical concepts to real-world situations.

The college provides good placement opportunities to students. The infrastructure of the college is excellent, with projectors in each classroom, a spacious library open until 8 PM, and modern, fully equipped labs. The hostel facilities are reliable and well-maintained. On campus, it has a stationery shop, a canteen offering several types of food, and a good parking space. Also, there is a good development of basketball courts and a sports centre. The campus is clean, green and student-friendly.

The faculty is wonderful at this institution. As I did my MCA, I experienced the dedication, helpfulness and friendliness of the professors. They help their students at all levels and make it easy to understand ideas. The curriculum is structured and consistently revised to keep up with changes in industry practice. The syllabus is delivered in a well-rounded way, but whenever students require additional help or practice, the faculty willingly offers up their extra time to help in each case.

The college is very proactive when it comes to placements. One of the most impactful steps that they take by conducting TYL -Tie Your LACES Session, where students are trained in aptitude, communication, soft skills, and technical rounds. These sessions help us prepare thoroughly for placement exams and real interview scenarios. The placement cell puts in consistent effort to make every student confident and fully ready for interviews.

It is best place where you can meet people from different states. Teachers are very supportive and friendly.

The central library is spacious and fully organised housing of thousands of journals, e-resources that cater to the diverse academic needs of students and faculty. High speed WiFi connectivity is available throughout the campus.

Our institute follows a learner centred pedagogy, incorporating project based learning, internships, seminars and workshops to enhance practical understanding. Faculty members are highly qualified bringing the blend of academic expertise and industry experience to the classroom.

The placements process in our college is based intensive pre-placement training sessions that cover aptitude, communication skill, technical interviews and resume building. The institute also organise workshops hackathons and internships programs to ensure students gain real world exposure.

Cost varies widely for merit based seats like KCET, COMEDK . Fees are much lower when compared to management quota . The overall cost can 20-30 lakh for 4 years depending on the branch which we select.

The infrastructure of CMRIT , Bangalore is overall Good. The campus offers modern , WIFI enabled classrooms and well equipped laboratories tailored for engineering disciplines. The library is spacious and stocked with wide range of books.

The academics at CMRIT are quite good , with a cirriculum that is regularly updated according to industry standards. The faculty members are knowledgeable and approachable and most of them hold advanced degrees.

The placement scenario at CMRIT is slightly above average. Many companies visit the campus from IT sector. CMRIT also has an Mou with Japanese based company Zenken. The average package offered is 5-6 LPA.

CMRIT offers good value for money considering the quality of education, infrastructure and placements and exposure to students.

As a first year student at CMRIT in the CSE(AIML) branch, I have spent the last few weeks exploring every corner of the campus and I have to say, the infrastructure here is pretty impressive and student friendly. The college is located in Marathahalli which is a busy tech hub in Bangalore, so the vibe around the campus is energetic and modern. The classrooms are spacious and well-lit, with projectors and smart board in every rooms. Most of our lectures use slides and digital content, so having AV setups really helps. The computer labs are where we spend a lot of time. The systems are decent and have good internet creativity. We also get access to cloud platforms like Google Colab for our coding assignments. The library is one of my favourite spots, it is quiet, air conditioned and has a solid collection of textbooks, reference materials, and journals. There is also a digital library section where we can access e-books and research papers. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled, so it can be used. There is a central auditorium for events and its really well-maintained. The canteen and cafeteria are clean and functional. Food provided here is hygenic. Hostel facilities are available too . They are clean and secure.There is gym, sports room, and a medical centre on campus which adds to the overall convenience. Overall, the campus has a professional feel.

As a first year CSE-AIML student at CMRIT, I have found the academic environment to be engaging so far. The syallabus follow VTU guideline and is upadated, but our department adds extra workshops and coding sessions to make things more practical. The faculty is approchable and supportive. Most professors explain concepts clearly and are open to dubts, even outside class hours. The encourage us to go beyond textbooks- like joining technical and non technical clubs, participating in hackathons and taking online courses. Lab sessions are well- organized giving us hands-on experience with coding and hardware. There is mentorship system where each student gets assigned a faculty mentor which is helpful when you are adjusting to college-life.The academics at CMRIT feel structured but flexible enough to grow. There's a lot to gain here.

After talking to seniors and checking the stats.. For the academic year 2024 , the placement percentage is 96.82% with 669 out of total students getting placed. The general placement rate is in the range of 80%-90% range. The highest package is 46.64 LPA (in the year 2024) and it went to a ISE student , securing offer from Belc Co.ltd. For most students the average package was around 6.99 LPA with the median package close to 5.6 LPA. Top recruiters include PhonePe, Hitachi, Federal bank, Belc, Infosys, TCs, Wipro, Capgemini and Cognizant. The college starts placement training from the first year itself focussing on aptitide, coding and soft skills. there's also a dedicated placement cell that helps with internships amd resume building.

The fee paid here is worthy. As I was enrolled through KCET my fees was around 1.28k. The fee differs for students getting enrolled through COMED-K and Management seats. CMRIT offers good value for the investment.

Life at CMRIT is lively, diverse and full of opportunities to explore. There are tons of clubs- coding, dance, music, fashion, phtography, drama and even entrepreneurship. I enjoyed the tech clubs personally, The college hosts several event throughout the year. CULTURA is the big cultural fests and TECHNOZION is the tech fest. Even as a fresher, you are encouraged to participate which helps build confidence and friendships. People are here to assist with scholarships and higher studies too. So, its not just about studying- its about discovering yourself
