Eligibility Criteria

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.

Admission Details

Admission to the UGP shall be made either on the basis of the merit rank obtained by the qualifying candidate at an Entrance Test conducted by the Telangana State Government (EAMCET), OR the University, OR on the basis of any other order of merit approved by the University, subject to reservations as prescribed by the Government from time to time.
The medium of instructions for the entire UGP in E&T will be English only.

College Infrastructure

Infrastructure is good in the range of EAMCET colleges and regarded as the finest among its competitors. Hostel is very good with a peaceful environment and the food at the canteen is amazing. Coming to medical facilities, there is a health care setup near the canteen and they have basic medicine.

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure is good, but there is no Wi-Fi. The labs, classrooms, and library are decent, although no one usually uses the library. Hostel facilities are good, but again, there is no Wi-Fi. The food quality varies; sometimes it is good, and other times it is bad. The canteen food quality is poor, with flies and insects often found in the food.

College Infrastructure

Classrooms are large and spacious. The library is big and contains different types of books. Labs are well-equipped with equipment. Hostel rooms are good. The food available in the hostel is decent. The canteen has different types of food varieties. CVR College conducts national-level sports like EPL. CVR College has a basketball court, football ground, cricket ground, etc.
