"GGU's infrastructure is impressive, with a sprawling 655-acre campus and modern facilities. As an MBA student, I appreciate the well-equipped classrooms, Wi-Fi connectivity, and access to a vast collection of books and journals in the central library. The hostels are decent, with 2-3 seated rooms and average mess food. The campus has sports facilities, a medical centre, and affordable food options like Amul and Nescafe. While some facilities like labs and washrooms need improvement, overall, GGU provides a decent environment for learning and growth.
As an MBA student at Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya, I'd say the academics are solid. The faculty is experienced and knowledgeable, with a curriculum that's industry-relevant and up-to-date. The course structure is designed to promote practical learning, with opportunities for internships and projects. The university follows a semester system, with regular assessments and exams. While some students may find the course load challenging, the faculty is approachable and supportive. Overall, GGU's academics provide a good balance of theory and practice, preparing students for the corporate world. The university also encourages research and innovation, with opportunities for students to publish papers and attend conferences.
Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya (GGU) has a decent placement record, with varying statistics across different courses. For B.Tech, the placement rate is around 65-80%, with top recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, and Amazon offering packages up to ₹64 LPA. The median package for UG 4-year programs is ₹4.50 L. However, placement opportunities for non-engineering courses are limited. The Central Placement Cell facilitates job fairs and recruitment activities, but some students report that placements are average, with many opting for off-campus opportunities.
GGU seems like a solid choice if you're looking for affordable education with decent placements, especially if you're into engineering. But if you're from a non-engineering background, you might want to explore other options or be prepared to hustle for placement.
GGU's campus life is pretty chill . The 655-acre campus is lush green, with separate hostels for boys and girls. You'll find digital classrooms, a central library, and sports facilities like cricket and football grounds. Wi-Fi is available, and canteens serve affordable food . - Peaceful environment, great for studying - Active student unions and societies - Cultural events and festivals add to the vibe - Mess food can be hit-or-miss - Some say infrastructure needs improvement - Limited food options in canteens Overall, GGU's campus life is decent, with a mix of academics and extracurriculars.
