Have a question related to Dharmsinh Desai University, Faculty of Dental Science, Nadiad ?

Hi

Guessing you mean BE Vs B tech

Actually, there is not much difference between BE i.e  Bachelor of Engineering and BTech i.e  Bachelor of Technology

------------------) The difference just lies in their name

  • Generally the University or Colleges which offers various courses like BSc ,Bcom etc along engineering courses , name their engineering course as  BE
  • While  college /universities which offers only in engineering courses etc name the engineering course as BTech.

------------------) One minor difference between BE and BTech is that,BE is a bit more theoretical oriented while BTech is more application based oriented.

But there's no major difference in BE and BTech , both are equally reputed and both have almost same syllabus, course etc.

Actually, what  matters is the engineering college   from which you pursue your BE/BTech  , brand value of the college,  its past placement  records, industry exposure provided by the college  etc because your starting package and placement  after completion of the course is mainly dependent on college’s name and brand, not whether it offers BE or Btech.
