Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Computer Science and Engineering is a four-year full-time undergraduate program recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and offered by the Jharkhand University of Technology, Ranchi.

Eligibility Criteria

The Candidate should pass the 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subjects/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to a reserved category) in the above subjects. OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure of GEC Palamu is decent and still developing. The college has the basic facilities required for engineering students, including classrooms, laboratories, library, computer facilities, and sports areas. Since it is a relatively new government engineering college, the infrastructure is not at the level of older NITs or established government colleges, but continuous improvements are being made. Hostel facilities are available, though there is scope for better maintenance and additional facilities.

College Infrastructure

Infrastructure is far better than bit sindri.all necessity are available and laboratory should be open from new academic session of 2024 batch.campus is clean and have healthy environment .green campus with properly maintained .

College Infrastructure

My college have all the necessary things like facilities, infrastructure, and equipments are available. There is very good infrastructure and all the facilities like wifi, Library, labs, canteen and etc. There is very hygienic and good quality of foods are available.
