Government Kilpauk Medical College, Chennai offers certain facilities to the students and faculty members of the institute including lecture halls, hostels, library etc. Detailed description of all the facilities are mentioned below.

• Lecture Halls- All lecture halls are well equipped with all advanced technology and facilities where all lectures, training sessions and guest lectures are conducted. Many seminar sessions at both National and International levels have been conducted.

• Hostels- Government Kilpauk Medical College, Chennai provides hostels facilities to the students of the college. Students have to fill the application forms for hostels separately and rooms are allotted based on the availability. All the hostel rooms are provided with basic furniture and facilities. Mess facilities are also available for hostellers which serves good quality and hygienic food to students.

• Library- The central library of GKMC has a collection of 17,104 books providing all necessary information to students in terms of medico. The library also has a collection of 10 Indian journals and 20 foreign journals. It also has a reading room where students and other visitors are allowed to read books. The library timings are 8:00 am to 8:00 pm on all working days.
